Knausen hviler på en fjellknaus i bakkant. Med sine 6 meter høye stålsøyler i front ruver hytta mellom trærne. Nydelig platting i høyden med bålpanne og benker.

Gode muligheter for diverse turer, fiske og et rolig liv på landet. 25 km fra svenskegrensen. Beliggenheten er "midt i Skandinavia". 60 km til Kongsvinger, 50 km til Elverum, 80 km til Hamar. Boligen ligger på en gård hvor vi, et par i 60-årene, også bor sammen med en hunden vår, Perle.

I närområdet finns flera sjöar och fina fiskevatten, möjligheten att plocka bär och svamp, vandra eller varför inte ta en tur upp till ”rännbergs toppen” (vandringsled upp till en närliggande bergstopp)
