One word- AMAZING!! We loved it!! I wish so much we could have stayed more than one night. The house and views are gorgeous. I loved the book showing the before/after pics of how they renovated the home. The decor was gorgeous. Loved the coffee bar! And we were able to do some laundry during our stay, which was great. My kids LOVED the upstairs bunk beds and play areas (my 6 year old cried when we left bc she loved it so much!) Brittany even helped us out when I discovered my kids had left their stuffed animals in the beds. The home is very private but the perfect retreat after hiking in Franconia all day. Thank you!!

I had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again when I visit the area. The place felt just like home. It was close to all the local attractions. The home was clean and comfortable.

Katie’s place was a great spot for a fall trip with friends. The cabin is well-appointed (including extra blankets for being cozy as the weather was getting cold!), especially the kitchen and plenty of outside furniture for maximizing enjoyment of the surroundings. We ate most of our meals outside looking at the pond and did some wonderful stargazing from the deck! We loved having access to the kayaks, and the wheeled kayak carriers made it super easy even though you do have to walk a few minutes to the boat launch. The only down side was that the campground down the road got a little noisy some nights, but otherwise this was a great, peaceful, beautiful spot for us to get away. 10-15 minute drive from grocery stores and restaurants, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. Katie was super helpful and responsive as well. Would recommend!

This home is an absolutely beautiful refuge from a busy world. If you like backcountry/nordic skiing, the location is fabulous, just minutes away from Highland Lodge trails which connect to Craftsbury trails. Or drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center easily. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, sun room, and kitchen all are fabulous. Since we went just as a couple we stayed mostly on the main floor, but the first floor/basement has a few bedrooms with twin beds for kids or additional friends. Excellent light throughout the day, and quite private feeling. Good kitchen with nice, stove, fridge, and beautiful dishware. The propane for cooking happened to run out when we were there, but Nicole was super responsive and had a truck there right away. Overall great house, great location if you like to play outside, and great hosts.

This house was perfect for our cross country skiing getaway! We skied on the lake and explored some local restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed the house. The fire was amazing and the house was perfect for our group.

Easily one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The place looks even better in person, and the tasteful decorations add to its charm. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials, so we didn’t have to worry about missing anything. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return again.

This is the 4th year our group of 8 has stayed at Chandler House. We keep coming back because it’s such a great place: comfortable, nicely furnished and a short walk from the XC trails at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. It’s a luxury to have a private bath in each bedroom. We love the house and John was responsive to all of my queries.

Beautiful cabin. The photos do not do it justice. The lake was so peaceful and we had such a relaxing time as a family. The cabin did experience a power outage for a few hours but it was thankfully resolved. We would absolutely stay here again.

Greg and Ricky’s cozy home on Cole’s Pond is lovely and well-appointed.Nothing for cooking, serving, and enjoying a home cooked meal has been forgotten. We were greeted with delicious, carefully selected gifts, all from Vermont upon our arrival 😊 The gorgeous landscaping in the front yard attracts hummingbirds & bumblebees. The pond view out back is sublime, and floor-to-ceiling windows allow a perfect view. Not satisfied with looking at the pond, we warmed up by kayaking, and finished with an invigorating swim. There is harmless pond silt & vegetation, but you can float past it on a noodle or raft. The pond water is clear & refreshing! We visited local towns, farmer’s markets, and breweries. (“Of First and Last Things” is our latest pick at Hill Farmstead.) No matter what the excursions, we were always happy to return to the clean air, views, and silence of the pond. We hope to return to Loonhaven. Greg & Ricky are perfect hosts!

We had an idyllic weekend at this magical place! Tatebrook Cottage is perfectly situated right on beautiful Caspian Lake, with a lovely (sandy!) beach, kayaks to use, and fabulous views out to the mountains. The cottage is extremely well laid out and outfitted, roomy enough to stretch out and do our own things, but with a warm and cozy feeling. Things are pristine inside and out. We loved exploring the gorgeous area on foot and by kayak, then coming back to cook excellent meals. Jennifer was a gracious and generous host, very clear and very responsive. We feel grateful to our hosts for such a wonderful visit!

The lake house was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Convenient location and seamless check-in made it a perfect choice for a comfortable retreat during a ski trip. Steve and Kat were wonderful: super friendly, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

We spent 3 nights at Nella and James's house while we skied at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain. A winter storm hit while we were there and we had to stay put for a day. The house was warm and cozy, and we watched the storm through all the all the windows. We took a long walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. It is definitely a place that we would like to visit again. James and Nella were very responsive and helpful!

This was one of our favorite vacations. Brynn's wonderful cabin is perfectly nestled amongst the rocks and trees, right at the lake's edge. The wide views of the peaceful water and mountains are ever present. The cabin's walls of glass create an open feeling - you'll want to pop your head up at dawn to see the silver water. Inside is cozy and homey. there is an amazing collection of old books - A curious visitor could get lost in the classics. The area is exquisite - great kayaking, good hikes, and endless bike riding on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail are close by. Brynn is responsive and friendly. When asked, she shared the lovely history of the home, starting in 1957 when her parents bought the parcel and built the bunk house themselves. You will feel like you are in the home of old friends, but everything is pristine. This cabin is a jewel.

I stayed at Mary’s place for a week with my two teenagers and my husband. We have been traveling up to Vermont for many years and have always wanted to stay on Caspian Lake. The location of the home was fantastic, it was private with easy access to the lake. The accommodations were clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. we spent most of our time on the amazing porch that overlooks the lake. There aren’t many Airbnb’s that I have stayed at that. I would absolutely return to, and I would return to Mary’s without a question. She is responsive and genuinely cares about guest experience.

Great place - we stayed in the lower unit, from which you can walk right out the door, down the steps to the lake and jump in a kayak. Beautiful views and very quiet area. Good beer and wood fired pizza at a place in Monroe NH about 15 min away.

We booked with Andew originally because we wanted something close to Stowe but a little off the beaten path, where we could bring our dogs. After it was all said and done, we didn't end up bringing our dogs, and we landed in the middle of a wicked windstorm. BUT - we would go back there in a heartbeat for no other reason than to stay THERE (even if we never left the place!). Stowe is lovely, but Lakeside at Wapanacki is lovelier, and Andrew is a terrific, responsive host who clearly cares about his property and his guests. If we are EVER headed in that direction again, we will certainly reach out to see if this adorable, comfortable, beautifully located, charming log cabin is available. This place is a destination in and of itself, and Andrew made it all very easy and pleasant. A win on every level.

This is a great location for a large group to gather! There are 3 private bedrooms (if you count the loft), plus loads of sleeping places in the bunkhouse. The kitchen is impeccable for an AirBnB with loads of space to cook for, serve, and do dishes for large gatherings - and it's well stocked! The deck and fire pit were awesome ways to enjoy the lake and night sky. It's fairly isolated from neighbors, so we had no concerns about our crowd causing any issues. Definitely a place I would rent again.

Anita’s place is a warm, homey and well stocked house. It’s rustic and so very Vermont, something we love, and the additional waterfront with kayaks and a sitting area is just what I wanted. It was also very close to other family on Sabin Pond, the reason for our visit. I hope to rent again, thanks Anita!

My family (4 adults) spent a week at "Scout" It was what my family needed! Quiet, private and peaceful. I wasnt sure how the 4 of us would do being so close together but it was the absolute best time we have had as a family in a very long time! Andrew was an amazing host who was very fast to respond and amazingly helpful and understanding. we have been thru a lot recently. We had to leave our home due to an electrical fire and my brother (1 of the 4 adults) is very sick. Andrew went out of his way to lift a bit of stress and worry from my shoulders and I will be forever greatfull. The person who cleans the cabins was also very sweet and helpful. The cabin was clean and comfy in a homey way and we made some beautiful memories! Hanging out, playing cards and talking from our beds to each other for hours in the dark after "going to bed". If you are looking for a place to reconnect with friends/family/yourself Andrew's cabins are the perfect place! We may have found a new years tradition!

Second time staying at this property as it is truly incredible. We love the lake and trails and general privacy experienced at the camp. Cabins are well appointed and comfortable. This is a good escape destination as WiFi is not reliable. Additionally power and water went out for almost a full day which is common for the area but I would recommend this property add a generator for these situations at its premium price point. All that said certainly recommend and will be back to this gem!

Selene was great host and provided all the information necessary. The place is definitely for true outdoorsmen and she made that very clear throughout the process. Location is secluded and peaceful. Thankful that I could have the full New England experience in the woods. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get out of the city.

I stayed at Moonshadow on a cold and rainy weekend, but it was so tranquil and beautiful, comfortable and yet modern —I found myself looking at their calendar for availability again before I even left. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well appointed, view is stunning. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and really do hope to make many return trips in the future. The only heads up to future guests-and already mentioned by other reviews- is be sure to bring some drinking water with you as tap water is not potable.
