First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Its a beautiful house. Host was so very friendly and helpful. House is spotless , clean and well decorated. Everything was just perfect and we felt like a home.

Enjoyed our stay. Pubs and beach easy walks away, and the beach more than quiet enough for our occasionally reactive dog. The house was clean, quiet given it is in the middle of a row of four, had the facilities as listed and the garden was peaceful if not private (again as advertised). Had a slight problem with finding the place - a neighbour wasn't too helpful apparently waving us further down the track, but that may have been to where he wanted us to park. The w3w directed us to the right house.

We were splendidly well looked after in a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Finding out that we could walk to some woods was just an added bonus. Strongly recommend.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

Fabulous stay. House is walking distance to grasmere village and also very close to a number of walks including Easdale Tarn. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time at Middle Cottage, everything was as described and we felt very comfortable. Only downside the local pub was shut ! Hardly Dee and Charles fault. Thank you

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

Very comfortable, clean accommodation. Comfortable beds. Quiet street in town centre. 10-15 minutes walk from train station . Hosts responded to enquiries promptly and were very helpful.

Jeanette’s place was perfect! It was so cosy, warm, clean, and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous and a great place to spend time when the sun is shining. We felt right at home. Jeanette was super helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Sue's apartment is perfect for a long weekend - it's spacious, has everything you might need, and is perfectly located in the town. Plus it has private parking, which is a rarity in Keswick.

Great stay, check in was very easy, parking was okay, and the apartment was very cosy. It was quite cold when we arrived, but the heating was really easy to use and the place warmed up in no time! The location is very handy close to the village enter, lots of shops and restaurants. During our stay we visited the Lake Road Kitchen for the eight course taster menu, which was amazing and literally just up the road. If we decide to come back to Ambleside we will be sure to book this apartment again. Thank you

Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We booked on the day we wanted to arrive. Dispite a last minute booking our hosts were friendly and sent all the information we needed quickly. It is a beautiful, relaxing and well equipped home. Sitting out on an evening was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Lovely relaxing home surrounded by trees, even saw a fox one night.
