What a beautiful home in an excellent location. Loved the layout. Plenty of room to visit with friends. The large deck was wonderful and the view is amazing. The beds were very comfy and the master bedroom downstairs is perfect. The decor is beautiful yet very comfortable. Our host Lisa is very responsive and always available to help if needed. This home is a rare find and we will definitely return. Thank you Lisa for sharing your home with us.

Nice cottage - beautiful windows overlooking pasture. Kitchen well stocked including snacks - especially liked the electric tea kettle. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Brought our horses - very accommodating. Had 2 paddocks and 4 stalls. The only thing missing was a cover for the stalls which would have been great for the nights with rain and storms. We used Sue’s horse guide services. She took us all around Shawnee. Saw amazing sites - rocks, bluffs, waterfalls and caves. While it was just 2 of us in cabin, all rides included other people - friends of Sue or other clients and Sue’s trail dogs. So much fun and hope to return soon!

It has basically everything you’d need. Not just plates and cookware. They had a small grill and grilling spatulas. They had feminine products, a deck and notebooks, and extra blankets if needed. It’s a nice and peaceful place. It’s in the heart of Herrin less than 2-3 mins from every thing convenient and restaurants.

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we pulled in the driveway and walked in! They had a special made sign greeting us, and fresh bags of home grown lavender that one of the hosts grows herself which smelled absolutely amazing! This place was SPOTLESS clean and they even had water bottles in the fridge. Very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads and lots of room for parking. The couch was extra comfy, and we all almost fell asleep on it before we even made it to the very comfortable bed! Having two different bathrooms was definitely accommodating when you have three different guys staying together in a place! Lol. Thank you for such a great experience and such a great day and we look forward to staying with you again sometime!

This is the third time we have booked Samatha's place. It is close to our friend's home which makes it convenient. Samatha's home is quiet, cozy, comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We love to stay here!

The Red Barn was a cozy and comfortable home. The location was perfect for what we needed; a quiet place and plenty of room.

This place was perfect! It was a great location, but still gave you your privacy. We loved the rock instead of grass, grilling, fire pit with wood, and the private hot tub areas made for an amazing night outside! A bottle of wine and snack was a nice surprise! This place was SO clean and had everything you would need. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! Hope Angi’s Eats and Sweets is open next time so we can experience that also!

Cute house adorably decorated. Lots of games to keep you busy and clear instructions to make your stay run smoothly. The screened in porches were where we spent most of our time. They are so comfortable. Lots of perks like the snack bar and shower necessities. Very close to two boat ramps and plenty of room to park a boat trailer. We will stay again.

Phyllis was wonderful, kind, and inviting. check in and out was quick and painless. furniture is comfortable and she allows pets for a still reasonable price! plenty of space for the dogs to run and the place is perfectly placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle in town but close enough to run to the store if you need somrthing!
