Second time staying in the little house which is conveniently situated in the centre of the village with bars,a couple of shops, atm and nice public garden. It has all that's needed for a stay, including a great shower and a comfortable bed. The bread delivery each day is very helpful. Paula is a friendly host with good communication. I would definately stay again and recommend it.

The property is stunning. You will feel at home! Everything is very clean. It is a private place, you don’t have other houses around the house, so if you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it. The decoration and furniture are exceptional. The host replied very fast to your call or texts if you need something. He was very kind and helpful. We called him almost at midnight because we were lost and he replied to our call quickly and very nicely!!! 100% recommended 💕

We had the most wonderful time here - the gardens are truly magical, especially lit up at night. The architecture of the two buildings and the grounds is really something special - and everything has been thought of to make a comfortable stay. The town, a short drive or walk away was so special to have on our doorstep! Raquel's recommendations for shops, places to eat and drink, and a local swimming river were exactly what we needed. She was super speedy communicating throughout and we felt very taken care of. Will be visiting again very soon!!

The house is super cozy and amazing for a few days off from the big city. The surroundings are gorgeous and with plenty of towns to visit. Definitely recommend for a getaway.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The check-in procedure was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the very friendly and efficient staff. The apartment is well equipped, catering to both short and long-term stays, although it only has a microwave for heating up food, making it more suitable for those who prefer dining out. The location is excellent, being very close to the city centre yet situated in a quiet area. While parking is possible, it’s advisable to use the central parking area as the streets are quite narrow. Although the apartment is not fully soundproof, I found the neighbours above to be quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb.

hartelijke ontvangst, ik kreeg een grotere kamer die vrij was met veel lichtinval en een groot terras. het is er erg rustig en privé, in de nabijheid van Filipa en haar echtgenoot die altijd klaar stonden en een geweldige service gaven. Een aanrader!

Buena atención desde primera hora con el anfitrión, el alojamiento es totalmente como se describe en el anuncio, totalmente equipado y reformado, lo único que para personas con difultades con problemas de movilidad no sería recomendable ya que se ubica en un segundo piso sin ascensor, por el resto muy recomendable.

Casa do Doutor is a perfect base for a stay in Portalegre. The house is immaculate, well maintained, and comfortable. There is plenty of room for 4-5 people, and it's easy to walk to many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Vasco always replied immediately to our messages and was very flexible about our check-in time. Highly recommended.

Adoramos ficar na casa da Raquel e do Rui. Tudo estava impecável. É um espaço muito bem pensado, pois é bem decorado, temos muito espaço, principalmente nos quartos, tudo novo e bem cuidado. Nos sentimos em casa, um local acolhedor e não informal como os hotéis. Estacionamento na porta e podemos fazer tudo a pé, muito perto do centro da cidade. Recomendo.

Il a vue à tout nos besoins, et comme il est 2 minutes de la , si ont avait besoin de lui , il ce pointait en un rien de temps, nous a informé de ce qu’il y avait à voir aux alentours et + cartier industriel mais tranquille et logement neuf, pas de chien qui aboie, spécialement dans la nuit , tout était parfait je recommande fortement , un des meilleurs , sinon le meilleur que j’ai eu le plaisir de rencontrer.

A beautiful cottage with lovely comfy beds and a gorgeous shared pool. The area is spectacular also, very secluded. The sculpture garden was also really interesting. Joao was also very responsive and helpful when we arrived late! Would definitely head back.
