The Yellowhammer hut

Our Yellowhammer hut is named after the yellowhammer bird and last summer we had around 30 to 40 of them on the farm and they kept coming to see us when we were working so we had to name our new hut after them. It’s set right at the end near the apple and plum trees that belonged to the old orchard in what use to be the farmhouse kitchen garden. It’s a beautiful setting both quiet and peaceful (except sometimes for the sound of lambs and cattle sometimes) enjoy our meadow as much as we do.

Enjoy lazy mornings at Woodpeckers Cottage Silpho as you watch the sun rise over the sea from the sofa. Take your dog to the field (exclusively yours throughout your stay). Walk the footpaths through fields & forests to valleys with streams and hilltops with views. Drive to dog friendly beaches, picnic on the sand and breathe in the sea air. Return to the dog field for afternoon tea or a glass of wine, where a bench for two in a peaceful sun trap provides panoramic views of the setting sun.

The Lodge, Killerby Old Hall

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Positioned within substantial grounds, Killerby Old Hall is ideal for a countryside break, whilst being less than 2 miles from the sandy beach of Cayton Bay. The Lodge is a delightful log cabin accommodating up to 8 guests. Featuring a linked kitchen, living, dining room. Leading in to a private garden with hot tub, as well as use of communal indoor hated swimming pool. We have an onsite bistro /bar check website for opening times.
