I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful and very peaceful stay at the little cottage. Everything was as described with all the necessities. Guy and Tanya were so helpful and friendly and had great communication. I absolutely loved the location and view of the mountain from my bed every morning. The grounds were so well kept and all the plants, flowers and trees surrounding the cottage were magical. I extended my stay and would have stayed longer if it was available. Sonya, the housekeeper was also amazing and took great care of the house each week. The place is also very safe, behind 2 security gates. Small things like being able to do laundry and have my clothes hanging in the sun to dry, the birds singing every morning and visits from their sweet dog were extra little touches that make this such a great place. If I'm ever in Johannesburg again, I would definitely return!

Val and Mike are great hosts and their place is fantastic, prefect place to rest from a long day and the location is fantastic.

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

This was my second stay here. Such a nice place, great location, convenient. Really good!

Nice cottage with a beautiful outdoor area where you can make a delicious barbeque. The kitchen is well prepared for long stays. The shower works well. The area feels safe and there are good supermarkets within walking distance. Plenty of options nearby to dine out and/or have a coffee. Vicky, the cleaning lady is super helpful and even if you don't need cleaning she is there to provide clean linens, towels, or whatever you might need. Host answered all our questions nicely and timely and was flexible on our checkout time since our bus left a bit later and there were no other guests coming the same day.

The cottage was in a great location, modern and clean! the garden is beautiful and the cottage has all the modern facilities required for short stays. amazing place and I will definitely use it again when needed thanks for a great stay!

Slightly Older property but exceptional attention to detail. If you think you forgot something they already thought of providing it and then some little surprises. Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, cleaning staff did an excellent job even the mats next to the beds were replaced. Friendly accommodating host and property manager. Catered to ones every need. Would definitely recommend and use again. Loved being there.

We had an absolute wonderful weekend stay at this lovely place! Claudie, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and ensured we had everything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. Communication with Claudie was seamless, with prompt responses to all our queries. One is always nervous about selecting a place to stay in a city you are not familiar with. Blue Lotus was ideally located for us. In a secure suburb with quiet roads. Was very peaceful during our stay. We felt safe and very comfortable at all times. Perfect for a couple or a family with small kids.

Nguni cottage is such a beautiful and cozy little place to stay in! It's well equipped, the hosts are amazing and the dogs are the sweetest! My partner and I stayed there for 2 months, and with it being within walking distance of a grocery store it been an absolute dream! Thank you Jen and Gary for being such wonderful hosts!

Anna and Roland were amazing!!! I did arrive a bit late in the evening and they welcomed me, even assisted with my luggage. Had a little welcome gift of sweets and fruit basket. The cottage is spacious, had everything I needed and is close to Delta Park, a lot of greenery in the area. It did rain the whole time I was there and even had ice blocking the entrance gate but Roland was there to shovel and clear some of it in the pathway so I can get in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, felt free and would definitely go back again to stay even longer. They are lovely, I definitely recommend this Lavender Cottage 💯

The location is stunning. Sue’s property to beautifully maintained. Magnificent homes in a luxury country style estate that is safe and quiet. Easy access to the highway.

We really liked staying at Debbie’s house. The setting is lovely and the house was both spacious and comfortable. Debbie is a great host and her added touches such as coffee, rusks, fruit made the house really homely and were much appreciated.

Jill is an absolutely awesome host, very friendly and helpful. She made sure we were taken care of from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was clean and tidy. A generous deck area to soak up the sunshine. Plenty of emergency information available inside the unit, as well as extinguisher and first aid kit should it be needed. The stay was nothing short of amazing. It really was so hard to leave because of the peace of mind you get there. Not only was the place itself really beautiful but our host, Zander was so friendly and helpful, making you feel at home.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The Short stay here made me feel very at home and although i left halfway for other things，i would definitely choose this place Again if i needed to return to Johannesburg😄
