What a wonderful place to have a great ski weekend. The house had everything that we needed. I felt like the kitchen was very well stocked. They did a great job of communicating. I felt as though the instructions were clear and they were very specific.

The house was perfect for a large group of family to get together for a ski weekend, we had some of the group ski and some stayed back and the house was a perfect place to hangout with everyone.

This place was so perfect! My husband and I were on vacation and celebrating our 4th year of marriage and this place was amazing! The hot tub with the tv were just the icing on the cake! This place felt private and extremely clean! Just like the pictures. I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back if ever back in the area! I use reviews when booking my stay and trust me when I say this one is well worth it

Everything was awesome! The place was exactly as described and very comfortable. The landscaping out back was done so well and felt very private even though the other cabin wasn’t too far away. Kyle was very thoughtful in and the goodies provided were very appreciated. The EV charger was also a nice perk! This was a great place and my husband and I would definitely visit again.

Loved the proximity to ski hill, restaurants and towns. Place was comfortable and nicely appointed. The only drawback was the master bathroom was only a half bath and that was not made clear.

The cabin was perfect for our family ski weekend! We had plenty of space for everyone, 4 couples and 2 babies. We enjoyed the beautiful view off the deck with the hot tub. Ski in/out was perfect and it was a beautiful weekend of spring skiing!

I booked it for a quiet, relaxing weekend for my bachelorette party with my Moms, sisters, and Aunt/Cousin. It was stunning and perfect. Brook and the rental company were always available - even before you knew you needed them! I always take my own sheets and pillow because….well, I’m a clean freak (that’s putting it moderately), but I didn’t use any of them. The laundry, bedding, and everything was so clean and neat, I didn’t feel the need to impose my own belongings where I normally would. The hot tub was an added bonus and we got our share of use out of it. My sister works for a pool/spa company and commented on how well cared for the spa was!! And just the overall layout - absolutely gorgeous in the fall. Book with Brook. You won’t want to leave, and you won’t leave disappointed.

This was the perfect place for our short getaway. So close to so many different activities, while still feeling very private and secluded. Gorgeous property and we will definitely be back!

Cute and cozy. A lovely little cabin in the woods. Just what I was looking for

Jane was a great hostess. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and looking forward to a peaceful few days. A couple of days before our stay, Jane messaged, she graciously and proactively offered a full refund for our stay due to a destructive ice storm shutting down the internet/wifi in the area. We have the same 500 channels at home and can never decide on what to watch and we were able to hot spot. We were not disappointed there was so much more to see and do....or not do. The beach was pristine, lots of sand, shallow, crystal clear and good rock hunting. Due to the chilly weather (April) we didn't take advantage of the sports/beach equipment. All of it was in good repair, the bikes were good for bigger kids and adults, whatever you needed, bike pump etc. The fire pit area, had great chairs, the view is MI prime, and a lot of firewood, close hose, decent Weber-clean, easy to light. Rustic, private and peaceful retreat. No outside distractions only nature. The half mile Loop was great for walking our dogs and we did it every day. We were halfway between Mackinaw City and Petoskey. Both were great to visit and walk the dogs. We found parks and trails all around to hike and enjoy.

As locals without an accessible home after “The Storm of a Lifetime” we felt like home. There are those who would not feel comfortable in such an old cabin with its quirks. We loved it!

The setting is so idyllic and peaceful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and a fun place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

This was an awesome stop for our family of 5. Just a few minutes from Boyne Mtn resort, snow was all cleared, parking in the heated garage was perfect for taking off our ski gear and letting the snow melt off the car. Kitchen is unbelievably well stocked compared to any other Airbnb I've used (too bad we hardly put it to use, but perhaps next time!). We loved seeing all the deer every day around the cabin, as they put out food for them on the property. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. Snacks set out and water bottles were a nice touch. My kids thought the hot chocolate K-cups were the best thing ever. Kelly was easy to communicate with and helpful when my daughter accidentally locked us out of the cabin (whoops!). We loved our stay and wish we had stayed a couple more days here. Lastly, highly recommend Betty's just down the street. Great breakfast and lunch.

Fun fall get away for up north exploring.

Loved Diane’s cabin, it was just what we needed for some R&R! Loved being near the water and in such peaceful surroundings. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of!

This location was extremely peaceful and exactly what we needed to focus on our relationship and nothing else. Room only for 2 people comfortably. It was a 25 minute drive from boat launch so car rental is strongly suggested. Beaver Island is perfect to just slow down your pace for a few days!

Great location close to town. Friendly neighbors. Shared yard and beach with other cottages and condos. View of Paradise Bay. We watched the Curragh races from the beach and loved the Irish Feile! Quiet cottage. Reminded me of our family’s hunting camp. Entrance step is bit tall if you have any mobility issues. Enjoyed cooking whitefish from the island market in the workable kitchen. We brought our own sheets, quilts, pillows, bath/beach/kitchen, cookware, knives, etc and were happy we did. Would recommend. Thanks for a relaxing week and sweet stay.

Great place to stay for couples weekend get away. don't be scared off by the fact it is not a real toilet. She keeps the outhouse very clean and it does not even smell like an outhouse. She even kindly gave us hot water for the outdoor shower one of the days as it was a bit colder when we were up there.

I thought this place was amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. A little dusty in a few spots, but you can’t expect perfect while staying in the “ woods”. Had to wash the dishes prior to using them, you can tell it’s been a while since they’ve been used. No hustle, and not a complaint. Everything I needed, Ashley was right there! 10/10 would recommend. Also very close to machines island, which is where we went.

This is a very beautiful place to stay with countless “up north” towns and attractions within a 30 to 45min drive. The view of the river from the lounge area was especially lovely in the mornings and evenings. We had multiple visits from the local deer and chipmunks (as an Aussie this was a a real treat). The interior had lovely decorations and felt very homely. All as described and has anything you might need. Larry is a top bloke and was very welcoming and happy to lend a hand if needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay. The view can’t be beat, the house was clean and cozy, and having the beach right next to it was a great bonus! I would stay here again anytime!
