Ferienunterkünfte in Chebanse

Ashley was the perfect host for the perfect location. We weren’t there 5 minutes before we knew that we would be finding a reason to plan a return visit in the near future. We were needing a “home base” for our large family for the weekend, in order to attend a celebration of life and funeral services for my husband’s recently deceased mother. It was a long weekend of obligations, but every member of our family was able to find comfort, refuge, peace & calm …not only within the perfectly accommodated home …but also out on the beautiful, scenic property. It became our “safe space” for a pretty hard weekend. We enjoyed reminiscing with family around the fire pit in the evening and watching deer stroll by as we sipped our coffee on the porch in the morning. Ashley’s hospitality & attention to detail was top notch. There wasn’t anything she didn’t think of & there were even a few generosities (pertaining to the nature of our visit) that we could have never expected. We WILL be back!

Our holiday began perfectly, thanks to this wonderful country home! It exceeded our expectations and felt like a dream come true. The house was cozy and ideal for our family of five, offering a charming and authentic countryside experience. As this is a true country home, visitors should expect to encounter some critters and enjoy the rustic charm of older amenities. For us, this only added to the experience, making it even more unique and memorable. We loved exploring the property, where we saw chickens, Bengal cats, and horses. My daughter especially enjoyed the swing, spending every morning and evening out there—it quickly became her favorite spot! This peaceful retreat was exactly what we needed to escape the chaos of city life. Diana, we are so grateful for your hospitality and this amazing experience. We can’t wait to return soon!

Great spot for large groups. We had a group of 12 stay over one night. The property was beautiful and had a lot of spots to wander around, though we didn’t have much time to explore. The bedrooms were nice and comfortably fit us all. The gathering sports in the house were great, too, though we didn’t get to use them much. Our only complaint was the excess of “lady bugs” and stink bugs in the house when we got there, but I understand that is pretty typical for houses this time of year in the area. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would recommend to others.

Everything was wonderful! Shower head was to die for, felt so good and the blue wall in living room was good for photo ops ! Only thing is we couldn’t find the right remote to tv so ended up connecting phones. HOST was amazing as well

Perfect couples getaway. We were there in off season so nice and quiet. Great lake views. Hubby was fishing off the dock everyday and I sat on the covered back porch looking at the lake and enjoying my book. Very clean! Great grocery store a few minutes away! Strack & Van Til. Great dinner at the Lighthouse just 5 minutes away. Very nice affordable winter weekend getaway. Jent was amazing. Quick response to questions. There's a piano that's in tune that I missed in the pictures. Would have brought some sheet music.

Felt just like home, the host was very responsive, and the kitchen had everything I needed for family dinners! Love the place and will definitely be back!

I was looking for a spacious family friendly place that allowed a large family get together and found everything I was looking for and more. Upon arrival we were greeted by a beautiful ranch dog that guarded the animals on the ranch named Bailey. The ranch is full of animals such as alpacas, goats, ducks, chickens, and peacocks. My children were in heaven. There is so much to do on the property if you love the outdoors. Outside the barndominium was a large pavilion for entertaining, fire pit, playground, animals, trails, privacy. The trails lead into the woods with all sorts of adventures things that a kids would love to do. My children came into the house dirty every day and had the time of their lives. Ranch hands would show up in the morning to tend to the animals and were very kind and friendly. My youngest son loved helping Genie with feeding the animals every morning and would come into the house with chicken and duck eggs for breakfast. We loved everything about our stay!
