A lovely homely feel about this house. Close to town yet felt like we were out in the countryside. A relaxing surroundings for a few days of catching up with family. Sophie provided good information, easy access and helpful tips for enjoying Cowes.

Chris is an amazing host. We have been several times at his cottage and he has become a friend. Chris is so engaging, very attentive and a fab host. His house is a real gem in Sussex.

Andy and Janet are amazing hosts and made us feel right home. The place was very clean, spacious enough and great private location nearby Chichester city center. They are very friendly and great company, giving us some great advice on where we should visit for our day hike - their lovely puppy Happy just simply melts my heart. In summary, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to find a place to stay overnight or a little while longer near the South Downs/Chichester city centre.

Jayne Ann's place is terrific -- neat as a pin, filled with interesting artwork, a socialble and gracious host, and a short walk to the station or the city center. Couldn't be better!

Andrew is a super experienced host and he makes everything he can to let you feel at home. He's keen of his home and the surrounding area, which is pristine and enjoyable. Have had a pleasant staying.

Jill was a fantastic host, so friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was super cosy and spotless and the house was lovely and full of charm. We didn’t manage to explore the immediate surroundings but it was very beautiful on our way to Brighton. Thanks Again Ben

We booked to stay with Lesley as we had a booking at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, which is a short walk from the house. The room was spotless and had lots of nice touches such as a selection of tea bags, shortbread biscuits aswell as shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom Lesley made us a lovely continental breakfast with beautiful warm pastries and was a fantastic host. Communication was also great beforehand. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and a great pub in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others Thank you again Lesley!

Alex and Rebecca are kind and friendly hosts. They gave me plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the historic town of Arundel. The room has a very comfortable bed, lots of books and a view of the cathedral. Although not en suite, guests have their own bathroom on the next landing. Breakfast is generous and Daisy the whippet is beautiful!

Room was perfect. Spotlessly clean, ideal location and Natalie was an excellent host. Would definitely stay again next time in Brighton

Thank you Bev for such a pleasant stay. We had a wedding at Southlands barn which was only a 6 min drive away from the b&b, perfect location! The room was clean, spacious and Bev really had thought of everything you might need being available in there. I was particularly grateful for the coffee machine and makeup wipes 😍 The breakfast was healthy and again, just what was needed. Thanks for being such a welcoming and thoughtful host!! Victoria and Keith are wonderful hosts. Very friendly people who make you feel welcome. Everything is nice and clean, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality, I really enjoyed my stay. Getting into Goodwood for the revival weekend was nice and easy as well. It only took 10 to 15 minutes from the house into the Goodwood carparks.

We were after a relaxing break and that’s exactly what we got. Elaine is a keen gardener and her garden was beautiful. We relaxed watching the garden birds whilst sitting on the amazing window seat. Elaine’s attention to detail is second to none. Elaine made immediate contact and responded promptly to any requests for local advice. She asked about food intolerances and I said so long as there’s plenty of tea and milk we’ll be fine - what a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, milk, jams, marmalade’s, butter, natural yoghurt, orange juice, fresh fruit and the most delicious homemade bread. Elaine and her husband were the perfect hosts and we will be looking to return here in the future. Everything is as described. Would highly recommend. Thank you Elaine and Bruce for your hospitality. Sarah is the perfect hostess, friendly, funny, always helpful with great tips for things to do in the area. We immediately felt so warmly welcome in her cute house, the rooms were cosy and the beds comfortable. She prepared an excellent breakfast with a view into the wonderful garden. Perfect place to stay for the Brighton Marathon. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. Easy access into Brighton, host very helpful.

This was booked for a works appointment but the flat was absolutely substantial for what we needed. Clean, well equipped, instructions and communication from Isabela was excellent. If you need a reasonable place to stay close to Brighton then I would definitely recommend.

Lucy’s home is delightful. And the room was fantastic. Roomy, beyond generous amenities such as tea and toaster and more, clean, easy to get to and close to the active town of Petersfield. All in all one of the top Airbnb stays I’ve experienced. I want to return home and make shifts to my Airbnb room based on what I’ve experienced w Lucy.

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Trish and her daughter were incredibly kind and there is a lot of love in the rooms they provide. Every detail thought of. It was a perfect place to stay as a single woman. The bus to the airport from the top of the road was super helpful with Ubers being so pricey! Would stay again. And very much appreciate the care and love put in! Thank you Trish!

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
