Kalou, Eco Escape at Goodwood

Kalou, is a unique bolthole lovingly hand-built from reclaimed materials during lockdown. Previously sited elsewhere, the cabin has recently been upgraded to a more sustainable way of living, off-grid, and now surrounded by seamless views of tranquility and peace, nature and spectacular sunsets. Local wildlife treats include sheep, cows, displays by pheasants, random hare playing, deer running by, and potential sightings of owls. A truly unique getaway with easy access to the South Downs Way.

Hand built by myself & Granny Mongolia, the Yurt is a mix of traditional Mongolian design & bohemian chic. As you enter the yurt you will instantly notice a sense of calm & grounding, an ideal retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Surrounded by countryside, the yurt is home to many Mongolian artefacts gifted to me by Granny Mongolia. It features a charcoal bbq & stove. Just you, a cosy space and a chance to rewind in pure tranquillity. Entering into Stonemeadow Shepherd’s Hut, you will find your own private escape surrounded by beautiful farmland. It is just a short drive to the centre of Chichester, close to Goodwood, gorgeous sandy beaches and the South Downs. Equipped with separate bedroom, with a kingsize bed, bathroom, full heating, TV and kitchenette with full sized fridge/with freezer, toaster, kettle & Nespresso coffee machine. Fire pit and bbq.

This traditionally inspired, hand-made Shepherds Hut is nestled inside a paddock in the leafy county of Hampshire. It offers a tranquil retreat in a home away from home setting with a cosy open plan living space championed by the log burning stove. Enjoy cooking your own English Breakfast - of which eggs are graciously supplied by our chickens -amongst views and visits of our 17 strong Alpaca herd. The lounge area has a 72" TV with a full sky package and spare HDMI leads. There is a walk in shower wet room and a separate cloakroom. The bedroom is cosy, with a king size bed. There is a separate area with bunkbeds, for smaller children.
