This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! We are so grateful for Dina to sharing this wonderful home with us!!

Our host was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The space was clean and very safe for the babies. The area was quaint and peaceful for our weekend getaway.

We had an amazing time, the house was exactly as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive with questions/answers. We felt right at home, the house had everything needed for a cozy stay. Gorgeous view and we will be coming back 100%.

The house was perfect for our boys fishing trip! The space slept all 8 of us comfortably and we all loved the porch overlooking the lake. We were able to swim, fish, and kayak right off the dock (getting the kayaks down the stairs was a challenge, but doable). Our host communicated really well and made the stay easy and peaceful! We look forward to visiting there again!

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

We stayed at Carrie’s place for end of the year. It was a great stay in a beautiful home. The house has all amenities and a perfect place for family vacation. Kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was clean. The house was safe, great location. Carrie is a very responsible host and we truly enjoyed our stay and would 💯 plan to come back.

Blown away by Jon his beautiful kids and of course the stay, my family and I chose to spend our holiday weekend here and it was incredible on all fronts. The views from the unit were absolutely jaw dropping - plenty to do and plenty to do At home if you chose to stay in - the stay felt like home away from home , only an even better version. To make things even better My dogs had a blast too!! Thank you so much for having us

Place nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, rooms were decently large. There were bottles of water in the fridge. Only thing lacked was TV. Overall very good comfortable stay.

Perfect location if your planning on boating and fishing short drive to town and boat ramp plenty of room for your boat and truck and outside outlet for charging

Paul, our host, was lovely. Easy to communicate with, and made sure we made it okay. The room was spacious and simple. I appreciated that Paul left us a jug of water in case the water from the pipes tasted too much like chlorine. The space is not super well insulated, so it does get cold pretty easily, but the room had a space heater available and Paul very quickly provided me with a smaller one when I had difficulty with the first. The location is beautiful, and it’s super simple to get down to the water to enjoy the view of the lake.

Very quaint and peaceful place. Right on Lake Champlain with great views. We will definitely be back!

This was my second stay at Four Pines and I can promise it won't be my last. Everything about the place—the beautiful setting, the quality of the accommodations, the thoughtful and complete attention to detail, the friendliness of the hosts—was perfection. I found myself getting cranky during my last two days and realized the reason was because I knew I had to leave soon. I have already locked-in my dates for a return stay next year. Superlatives don't tell the tale, however—you need to stay here and experience the magic for yourself! You will not regret it. Four Pines is simply the best, and you will always feel right at home. If I could give it five hundred stars—I would.

Stayed for a few days with my family and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The house was absolutely spotless, the host & family were very friendly and helpful. We loved it-definitely recommend! And will most certainly try to come back again! Thank you again you guys! We had a great time!!

Second time staying here, and it always makes for the perfect vacation! I leave feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. There’s no better view to wake up to than the gorgeous snow covered trees and morning sun rising over Chazy Lake. We can’t wait to come back again and again! Especially grateful for the flexible check in/out time since no one else had booked around our winter stay. Thank you!!

We cancelled a commercial hotel reservation to stay at Beverly's cottage, and it was probably the best decision we made for a wonderful vacation. The cottage is peaceful and in gorgeous surroundings but is still within minutes of the small town of Chazy. It felt private yet protected, and it was so much homier and more comfortable than a hotel. Everything is as pictured in the listing. The shower is small but warm water was plentiful. Internet was a bit spotty, but that only helped us to relax and cell service was excellent. It was an easy drive to Saranac, Lake Placid, Burlington, etc, leaving enough time in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine and Chazy Orchards apple pie in the evening while we looked out over Lake Champlain. Hosts were accessible but never intruded. We would go back in a split second if we get back to the area.

Great lakeside location with beautiful daily sunsets. The lake and surroundings were quiet and the night skies were beautiful. Able to have camp fires at the lakeside as well. Comfortable accommodations and overall an enjoyable stay 😊

My brother and I stayed at François’s house on the lake for two nights while we were in the area hunting. The house was exactly as I pictured it from the listing. I would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the sun porch, the outdoor fire pit and the lake front view. Overall we enjoyed our brief visit and we highly recommend this spot for a nice getaway for small groups.

This was a beautiful stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious and cute. Loved spending evenings near the lakefront watching the sunset. Short drive to Pointe au roche for trails.

This is a phenomenal place, incredibly private, secluded and serene. The place is exactly as described, it’s a great place to bring the family. 10/10 would recommend again and will definitely be back next time I’m in plattsburgh
