An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. During the hours of 8am-5pm Mon-Friday there could be some noise. We reduced our prices to reflect that and promise to take great care of you!:)

Relax and luxuriate on your on your own private estate overlooking Shuswap lake. You will stay in a lovingly rebuilt hand hewn post and beam home away from home. The grounds are spectacular and feature 2 firepits (one wood and one gas), an outdoor eating area and of course, a hot tub. The lake and a boutique winery are a few minutes drive and the restaurants and activities of Salmon Arm are only a short drive. Relax and enjoy the view and amazing quiet. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Black Bear Log Cabin is a locally handcrafted Douglas Fir log cabin nestled in the trees on a private lot, located an easy 15 minute drive south of Golden BC. Situated within easy reach of several national parks, Golden is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise with world class skiing & sledding in the winter. Equally exhilarating are the many summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, paragliding, tandem parachuting.

Suitable for groups from 2 to 6 people, the cabin has a private hot tub with mountain views, 3 decks with picnic table, BBQ & hammock and a private lawn. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wireless internet, 42" TV (Netflix, Disney+, Roku) & DVD player (+ DVDs), wood burning stove, washer-dryer & fully equipped kitchen.
