This was a great place to stay! The owners were flexible and accommodating. I loved the farm vibe and the privacy of the cabin. And I especially loved the animals! The hot tub is up by the owners home and had a great view, just worth noting it is not attached to the cabin itself. I would stay here again!

We had an excellent time at the Tin Poppy Retreat. Civilization is a stone’s throw away yet you are truly immersed in the serenity of nature in this location. If you are lucky enough to have some decent wind and rain roll through you are in for a fun, wild and cozy night. We hope to be back someday.

We were 6 adults and 3 children and we never felt crowded. The pictures and description are exactly what you get. The fire pit and hot tub were nice extras and the hammock 👌. We cooked inside and BBQ'D aswell as made Smores at the fire. The kids loved the outdoors and being able to run around and explore nature with chipmunks and pheasants aplenty. The host has put much thought into making this place a comfortable setting. It's so peaceful here. The whole overall feeling was AWESOME. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Cordwood Chalet is a beautiful escape from hustle bustle. it's tucked away off the road and feels very peaceful. you can sense, just from the energy of the place, how much love was poured into the walls. there are some lovely hikes around as well. thank you Priscilla & John!

What an incredible stay, it was the perfect way to finish off our 2 week honeymoon. The cabin is perfectly secluded but super easy to access all the amenities Julie has on offer, including Archery which was great fun on our last day. Although we didn’t see a bear, we were treated to the most amazing northern lights we’ve ever seen-it was mind blowing! The cabin also has phone reception (just) if you sit on the bed upstairs!

Great location and included amenities for skiing. Overall, very clean. Highly recommend.

The cabin was absolutely comfortable and clean. It’s very quiet and fresh in the trees. Snow was melting and making the experience even better resting while listening to the melting snow and birds’ chatting. We had a very good time here, very peaceful and relaxing. Love it!

From tranquil morning coffees on the dock, to kayaking and admiring the painted turtles and various birds, to stargazing every evening, this spot checked every box for us! Susi and Bruce were amazing hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. We recommend this rare gem without hesitation, and we look forward to our next stay!

Das Tiny Home ist wunderbar mit Herzblut gestaltet. Es ist alles was man braucht und noch mehr vorhanden. Speziell die Kissen waren von top Qualität. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

We had a great stay in the cabin! We mostly stayed inside and were able to play cribbage and sip a cozy beverage by the propane fireplace. It had everything we needed and although compact, very functional.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft. Privatsphäre ist absolut gegeben. Wer gerne wandern geht und die kurze Entfernung in die bekannten Spots schätzt, ist hier sehr willkommen. (Auch wenn man in Golden in den Restaurants wohl nicht so oft Touristen sieht, wir wurden aber herzlich aufgenommen). Gerne wieder!

A real gem on the beautiful Shuswap!! Nikki and Ante are fantastic hosts, welcoming you to their incredible property to share the outdoor spaces and enjoy everything that lake front living has to offer. Highly recommend for a unique and memorable experience in their cute tiny cabin!

Thank you so much for hosting us in the "tiny" cabin. It was a perfect spot for hunker down after a day of hiking. Everything was clean and comfortable! The view from the back deck was amazing.

Frances was super nice and helpful and reached out about a week before our trip. She let us know there was construction which might increase the time it takes to drive in which was helpful to know. She responded almost immediately when we had questions. The cabin was chilly on arrival but has two space heaters and a wood fireplace, with wood and fire starting supplies right out front on the front door on the deck. The cabin is only 10 minutes from town with great pubs and little cafes. The only thing I would be mindful of is if you plan to take trips to Banff or Yoho, which we had planned, the trip is much longer (around three hours) when highway 1 is closed. Not sure how long they plan to have construction there. Often times the highway opens up on the weekends though. So just make sure you plan accordingly!

We loved our stay! The kitchen, though small (again, totally in line with what is described/what you’d expect) is very well appointed and we loved walking down by the river. We read books on the beach and had a lovely camp fire-even brought our own discs for some disc golf! It’s somewhat remote but the instructions and maps for finding it were extremely clear and the wifi was solid. The scenery is second to none and it was great having Golden a short drive away-the hosts even proactively let us know about a farmers market which we were able to pop into town and enjoy.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming Airbnb in Golden, BC. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the mountains that made our stay even more special. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy and smooth. Even though our stay was short, it was incredibly enjoyable and comfortable. We would definitely love to come back for a longer visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's cabin, could not recommend it more for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat from our busy lives!

Crista and Wade were amazing hosts and they provided a beautiful home in the most picturesque and peaceful place. They have proactively provided everything we needed- and we cooked our own meals and ground our own fresh coffee. The beds were comfy, the deck is amazing and the proximity to the river was a bonus! I wished we had more time to explore. We would 💯 recommend this place( and we already have forwarded the listing). Thank you! Oh… and we arrived in the dark and easily found the place because the directions were perfect!

We stayed at the cabin for a quick overnight between long travel days, and it was the ideal place for us to rest and rejuvenate right off the main highway. The cabin had everything we need and more - where else can you find a place with a king bed, AC, steam shower, fireplace, kitchen and hottub that allows two dogs? Check-in to check-out was effortless, space was clean and what we needed!

Second time out at the cabin and it never disappoints. Beautiful spot, would most definitely recommend Evan and his cabin to anyone out for a little mountain getaway.

This cabin was exactly I needed. I loved how private and secluded it was. I travel quite regularly and I do mostly stays in cabins like Luise's. But Louise's cabin was by far the most cosiest one. I loved that there was a plenty of firewood outside ( I got to practise my choppin skills with an axe) :D And had the possibility to have an outdoor fire under the stars. I did appreciated that there was no wifi or reception, which helped me to disconnect with the outside world and enjoy ME time by the fire and read a book. I hope I stick around as I would love to come back for a longer weekend. Thank you Louise

My brother and I were finishing our BC ski tour of 5 ski resorts and previously we stayed between 2 and 3 nights at each resort location. This beautiful, new, clean, and cozy cabin was our last accommodation and was absolutely the best of all five locations. It is a about 10 minutes from Golden however there is local taxi service available which we found convenient for transportation for dining and entertainment in Golden. We highly recommend this accommodation.
