Parking space. situated in a small country village, lovely walks on the doorstep and close to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. Bristol Airport is 20 minutes away. The Beautiful Chew valley lake is 3 miles away and is ideal for walks, bird watching and fishing. Other attractions within an hours drive are stone henge, Weston Super Mare, Longleat safari Park. The perfect base for visiting the West Country.

The Cowshed

The Cowshed is a fully self contained property with its own entrance and includes one car parking space on our private driveway. It is an annexe which has been newly renovated. We have recently given this space a new lease of life by re-decorating the main living area, bathroom and bedroom. It also comes with a fully refurnished kitchen along with all new appliances excluding dishwasher & washing machine. Situated in the village of Farmborough, only 8 miles from Bath and Bristol City Centre.

Traditional Country Cottage

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

The accommodation we are offering is a timber clad self catering apartment set within our grounds with secure parking. On a bus route (temporarily suspended on week ends) and perfectly located for Bath(6 miles to centre) Cheddar Gorge and Wells etc in the heart of the Mendips. Ideal for guests attending the wedding locations at Priston Mill, Radford and Camerton. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The cottage is only a few minutes drive from places of interest like Bath, the Cotswolds, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and the Mendip Hills. With many walks to choose from the cottage is also the perfect spot for nature lovers who would like to leave their car. The cottage is within walking distance from Keynsham with lots of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a trainstation (direct train to Bath and Bristol centre in about 10 minutes).

There are miles of footpaths to explore. You can enjoy Bath, a Unesco World Heritage city, its buildings, history and restaurants, visit the hustle and bustle of Bristol, explore the countless picture postcard villages, pubs and cafes or visit a range of National Trust properties. Something for everyone.

The Old Stable, between Bath and Bristol

Half way between Bath and Bristol is our charming and cosy eighteenth century newly renovated old stable. This unique space is the perfect retreat for two in a village location with Georgian Bath six miles in one direction and vibrant Bristol six miles in the other. And when you want to escape from the delights of these very different cosmopolitan centres there are many beautiful walks here on the edge of the Cotswolds to explore, with two lovely country pubs within walking distance.

Pretty annex with kitchen and private garden

This lovely annex has its own private entrance with a small fenced garden and patio area with table and chairs. There is one ensuite kingsize bedroom (or 2 singles) and a open plan kitchen with sofa bed (more suitable for children as no separate bathroom) There is parking outside. Our beautiful hamlet is very quiet with great walks from the door. We do run a working farm so you may occasionally hear that in action. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

The lodge has a kitchen, breakfast bar for dining, lounge, bathroom & one bedroom with a double bed. Set in the historic village of Saltford, it’s within walking distance of Saltford Golf Club and is the perfect base for exploring the heritage city of Bath (10min drive) and the bustling city of Bristol (20min drive).
