Great whole home with a fenced in backyard in the middle of Hanover! Close to everything Hanover has to offer plus only 20 minutes to Gettysburg! York Pa, Westminster Md, Hershey Pa, and Baltimore Md are all within a short drive. Our fully stocked home is perfect for a short visit or a longer stay if you are in town working. It’s a short 1 block walk to a fantastic family owned grocery store that sells premium meats if you like to grill out, and everything else is just a short drive away!

Unique Tiny House Getaway on An Historic Farm

The Hen House Cottage is a tiny house located on an historic farm in central Maryland. It is surrounded by six acres of beautiful pasture and gardens. The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. Linens and towels are provided.

Summer Kitchen

This renovated ‘summer kitchen’ is close to Gettysburg battle field and Gettysburg university. There are a set of fairly steep steps that lead to the bedroom, so please ensure that you are able to climb these (see pics). There is a small sitting room, bathroom and kitchenette on the first floor, and the bedroom is the only thing on the 2nd floor. There is plenty to do in historic Gettysburg, or if you like to ski or snowboard, Ski Liberty is only about 20 mins away!

Our home has been fully renovated keeping in mind comfort and conveniences our guests would like to have to feel right at home during their stay. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen should you like to prepare your meals. Relax on our peaceful porch for morning coffee or afternoon beverages. Aside from being welcoming, the location is fantastic. We are located a short ride from the center of downtown, Codorus State Park and just 12 miles to downtown Gettysburg.

There is a breville coffee maker to make your favorite cup of coffee or latte,(bring your own dairy)

Carlisle and Harrisburg are approximately 45 minutes north; York is 40 minutes east and Lancaster approximately 1:20 minutes east.
