Loved staying at Michael’s place! Super well located, clean and cozy it’s the perfect place to stay in a trip to Sydney! Bonus points for the decoration and plants which makes it even more charming.

Thank you so much for having us Sara! The house was perfectly located - easy walk to lots of fantastic cafes and restaurants and an easy uber to anywhere around the city. Lovely well decorated home with great amenities! Clean and tidy! Beds were super comfy which is always a plus! The only thing to note is the stairs are steep which Sara was kind enough to warn us about but definitely consider if you have any mobility restrictions! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend this location 🙂

We can highly recommend Melinda‘s place as it is a home from home and in a great location. Malinda did everything she could to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. She was very flexible and accommodating, which we much appreciated. The home itself is furnished to a high standard and has many homely features. We particularly enjoyed the garden as it was laid out well for us to sit around the table and chat. Everything worked well and was well thought out. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated as Sydney gets hot and humid in summer. Finally, I have to say something about the location as the Airbnb is in a fantastic spot that has a real village feel to it and is one of the nicest locations I’ve been to in Sydney. Melinda’s home was a lovely space place to spend a week and was very easy getting into town from the train station as it is just around the corner. All in all one of our best ever Airbnb stays.

Beautiful, character filled home in the heart of Paddington in a quiet, leafy neighbourhood. Hosts were very welcoming and provided information on everything you would need. The house was very well equipped and close to all local transport routes to explore Sydney, as well as lovely local restaurants and markets. A huge plus for us was the off street parking. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house and enjoyed the proximity to the area and beautiful courtyard garden. Kristina was very helpful with ideas of where to eat and visit. It’s also accessible to bus and trains to the city. Her decor was welcoming and it felt like home.

An amazing stay and fab location, close to the shops and bars and harbour! Julie was a fantastic host, easy communication and the place had so many generous amenities (e.g. shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, coffee, sugar, everything you could need!) Lovingly cared for home in a great Sydney neighbourhood. Quick walk to shops, bookstores, pubs, restaurants and transit. Stayed for over a month and truly felt at home. Can’t think of how the place could have been better. Thanks Julia!

Family of 4 stayed here while visiting our son who is studying abroad at Sydney University. Clean bright contemporary home that was a great alternative to booking 2 hotel rooms (and easily could accommodate larger party). Very nice location near cafes and neighborhood restaurants. Walkable to CBD, Circular Quay and Botanic Gardens. Stairs in the home are very steep and narrow. If anyone has trouble getting up or down stairs this is not the place for you. Plenty of hot water and nice pressure in the showers was a bonus. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Sunny's apartment was in a grest location, close to restaurants, shopping, transportation and wslking the wharf. Great view from balcony with a green space and bbq to use as part of rental. Thanks again for a great stay in Sydney! Stephanie and family

Rachel was an amazing host, the stay was immaculate and in a very convenient location, close to everything. The stay had all amenities you could need, plus some. Rachel went out of her way to set up some Christmas decorations for our stay which was lovely. Would definitely recommend and stay next time we are in the area.

Really good atmosphere, close to airport and public transport

The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed & the location was perfect, so central. It also felt as if we'd found a slightly hidden gem right in the heart of the CBD. Sharon was more than helpful when we asked if we could drop our bags off earlier. A very welcoming host.

The apartment is in a great location for transport to the city and The Tramsheds and Newtown easily walkable. It was good to have access to the gym and pool. Communication with Clearly was easy and she responded swiftly. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Sebastien’s place. It was very homely and nicely maintained. The surrounding suburbs were beautiful and nice to walk around and very conveniently located near the train station

What a lovely stay at a lovely apartment! The place was very clean and well presented and might I say, what a gorgeous outdoor space. The host, Adeel, was very easy to speak to and very responsive.

Helen’s home provided such a beautiful stay. There was a warm welcoming atmosphere as soon as we stepped in, the place is impeccable styled and exceptionally clean. Plus, you cannot beat the location. Thank you so much Helen!

Stayed here with as a group of 9 girls, was perfect for a girls trip to Sydney! House was lovely! Host we’re always helpful and responsive and very generous as we had a few changes to numbers which the accommodated wonderfully. Location was great with good transport options and walkable restaurants and cafe’s. Highly recommend.

Lovely cottage with studio in the back, conveniently located near the main strip of Newtown and the train. The dining area with day bed was lovely to sit in, even during a rainstorm.

Fabulous location for a large family. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but a bus stop is literally just a 2 minute walk. The East Balmain ferry is also an easy 10 minute walk. When walking around the area you feel like a local. It’s not touristy at all which was a nice break after visiting busy beaches and the city. Heath was very accomodating, an excellent communicator and the house was tidy and clean. The trampoline was an absolute hit with our friend’s 6.5 year old daughter! We also highly recommend a visit to the Dawn Fraser baths which is in the same area.

The place was clean and welcoming and the host was easy to contact and deal with. It’s a wonderful place to stay as it is easy to either walk or get a taxi to the areas we were wishing to frequent.

We had a great stay in Alexandria The house was clean and spacious with a sunny backyard The household and bathroom amenities were sustainable and eco friendly. As a host Elena was responsive and friendly which added to the overall quality of our stay. Park across the road and coffee /sandwich shop on the corner were an added bonus.

That’s good stay for our family, we feels comfortable. 2bed rooms& 2 bath rooms are so enough for us, and Amy’s answer was so fast, hope to see you again , thanks :)

Great deal given the location. Loved walking around Surry Hills and beyond. The location is definitely the highlight of the place. Eva was very proactive and responsive and I know if I had needed anything she would have helped. Bed was comfy, air con worked (only goes down to 18ºC though), and Eva provided some snacks, eggs, milk, etc. I was able to cook some although in retrospect I probably should have booked a place with a full kitchen. I made due with the setup available but found myself wishing I had a proper stove (the hotplate was noisy – beeps/fans), oven, and a freezer. Not Eva's fault, everything was as described. I was just maybe a bit too optimistic that it would work for me. I figured out how to make it work for me within a day or two but if you're planning to cook a lot beyond very basic things, might not be the right spot for you. That said, there were lots of good restaurants nearby and I would still consider staying again. Eva was very kind via messages.
