Stay in the comfort of a newly renovated contemporary stone cottage on the grounds of Aughry House, where 17th century Aughry Castle once stood. Surrounded by walled gardens in a sheltered stone yard you can enjoy the grounds by day and cosy up by the oil burning stove come evening time. Only a 3min stroll to the village and harbour and within a 10-15 min drive to Carrick-on-Shannon and Lough Rynn Castle.

The Authentic Log Cabin

The Authentic Log Cabin is a traditional round log cabin built from homegrown timber in 2004 Situated off the shores of Lough Derravaragh, this is the perfect escape from the modern world. Relax around the campfire after a day of fishing, hiking and exploring historical sites. There is no better place to watch the sunset and star gaze when night falls. This is for true nature lovers. The basic facilities and lack of electricity foster togetherness and bring out that real outdoors feeling.
