We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

The house has a log burner, 3 modern shower rooms one with a large bath, an Aga in the kitchen and parking. Kemble Station is 10 minutes drive away.

The house has been renovated to a high standard, combining modern design with period features. Sleeping up to 4, it is an ideal bolt hole for friends, couples or families with children. The well appointed annexe apartment has its own entrance, parking outside and is self contained with king size bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette (please read below) and bathroom with a bath and separate shower. With glorious views across the fields to see horses and sheep grazing in the fields beyond. This annexe is quiet, comfortable and secluded, with tea and coffee provisions provided. Please note the doorways to the bedroom and bathroom are not as high as UK standard. No Smoking

Little Pippins - Cotswold Staycation.

A unique one bedroom detached stone cottage built in 1807, with far reaching views over the historic village of Avening to Gatcombe Wood. The recently refurbished house, with log burning stove, south facing lounge/kitchen/dining room, bedroom, en-suite and dry stone walled courtyard garden, will provide a cosy retreat. The cottage is available with a super king size bed. Alternatively, twin beds with prior notice. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated in the Cotswolds AONB on the outskirts of Tetbury, a stones through from the Royal Gardens of Highgrove, Gatcombe, Westonbirt Arboretum and Badminton. Swallow Barn is a converted old cow shed on an organic mixed farm that is teeming with both flora and fauna. Great for picturesque walks or a visit to the historic market town of Tetbury or cirencester. A peaceful getaway with occasional noises of farm machinery or farm animals.

Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break. There is a village shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. The property has its own parking and all the amenities to make it a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.
