The cabin was a wonderful spot. Quiet and private. Adam was very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately the Wifi was out and Telus couldn't get out to fix it, but that's not on Adam and a risk of staying in a remote area.

The most amazing place!! Highly, highly recommend staying at Nao and Tal’s if you’re ever visiting the area. Such a gorgeous, private, nature-filled area that felt extremely cozy and well thought out both indoors and outdoors. Loved the outdoor bath + fresh garden flowers! Everything about the stay was so charming, and we hope to return!

My dad and I enjoyed our stay at Sherry’s place! It was close for us to go back and forth to visit my grandma in Qualicum beach. My grandma was very impressed with the space as well. The hot tub was a nice treat. The place was very clean. Felt private for us to enjoy. Sherry was great to communicate with. I would stay again next time I’m out to visit grandma.

We stayed for three nights in April 2025. We really enjoyed it, the place is fantastic with beautiful views. Clean and comfortable, the house is so much fun, if a little rustic in places. Slightly disappointed the fire is a gas one but hey ho, we would love to come again. The deck, beach access, hot tub (not fully functional) and the canoes were fantastic. The beach pools are alive with fish and crabs and we had great fun pottering around trying to catch them. Highly recommend some halibut from the seafood shop up the road; great on the bbq. We saw bald eagles, hummingbirds and vultures from the sun room. We were only three , but note the third bedroom is an anteroom to the second bedroom with just a curtain for privacy which might be an issue for larger groups. We were sad to leave.

Cathy is a Superhost in my books. She thought of every detail, communicated clearly, proactively and responsively. Easy check in/out process. The covered porch allowed us to sit outside by the ocean, even during inclement weather. Cathy had even turned on the fireplace for our arrival (it was a cold and rainy day)! Kitchen was stocked with essential cooking accessories, spices, oil, coffee, tea, etc. What a welcoming feeling!! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

This is a lovely 4 bedroom home at a great little resort. The pool is perfect temperature, with a hot tub and warm tub. Guests should note the pool hours are “dawn to dusk” and that is strictly enforced. The view from the lawn above the rocky beach at the edge of the complex is breathtaking, and there are picnic tables there for seaside lunches and sunset cocktails. The home was decently equipped and very clean and the beds were comfortable. Younger kids will enjoy riding their scooter around the complex. Nice little tennis court (bring your own rackets etc). Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful tiny home in a great rural area but also close to downtown Courtenay. We loved the high ceilings and light you get in the cabin. Had a small hiccup during our stay but the hosts were quick to respond and correct the issue. Would stay again. Thanks!

This is a fantastic quaint little beach cottage to enjoy the island's natural beauty. Easy access to fun on the water. The family really enjoyed the lawn sports items the hosts provided. Thank you!

Absolutely tranquil visit to the boathouse! Has everything you need. Margaret was very friendly and attentive. Gorgeous place you have created, complete silence and away from the hustle of cities. We will be back, most definitley. Thanks so much margaret!

We loved it here! The cottage and property were so charming and inviting. Our kids loved their cozy bed nooks with toys hidden underneath. We all enjoyed spending time with the animals and wandering the wonderful flower and vegetable gardens. Carol was exceptionally welcoming and generous. We would definitely recommend staying here and are already planning to return.

The cottage had all the amenities that I would need during my stay. It was beautifully appointed and very clean. George even installed a grab bar by the toilet for me the next day that I was there. Loved the added treats of smoked salmon and cookies. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much George and Marion.

beautiful place which is right on the ocean. The view was incredible! The back deck was amazing and we spent hours on it. It was easy to walk down the steps to paddleboard on the ocean every evening. Kitchen was well stocked and even had snacks for the kids which was really appreciated. If we are ever back on Hornby Island we would stay again.

What a beautiful cabin! we arrived with 4 adults, 3 teens and 1 pre teen, there was plenty to do for everyone. Sophie had bikes for everyone. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and 2 stoves and fridges made it easy for 2 families to coexist.

Nous avons passé de très bons moments dans cette cabane confortable et chaleureuse. Nous avons apprécié le matériel varié et tout ce qui a été laissé à disposition. Merci!

We had the most wonderful stay at Judith's cozy and delightful place! It is so charming and full of character, everywhere you look there is something interesting to catch your attention. The garden is so beautiful and tranquil, we made sure to walk around it everyday and soak it all up. Judith is a lovely, warm and friendly host. We plan to return! We've traveled a fair amount, and it was easily one of our favourite places we've stayed in!

Een mooi appartement op de derde verdieping met 3 slaapkamers. De lokatie was fantastisch. Direct aan de Campbell river. Veel natuur met zalmen en beren. Loopafstand van de stad. Goede parkeergelegenheden.

My wife stayed at the cottage for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. It was just as advertised - clean, cozy, looking out on a beautiful garden and within walking distance of the beach. It is centrally located so a quick drive to get to Cumberland, Courtenay and Comox and surrounding areas.

I should not put out how great my stay was because I’m booking it again multiple times this year and don’t want competition! Absolutely perfect!

Excellent. Beautiful, well maintained and well stocked cottage. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature and close enough to town to strike the perfect balance. Appreciated the thoughtful, small touches - fresh eggs & cream in the fridge, extra very soft blankets, sweet treats upstairs and on the table in the kitchen, teas and lots of bath supplies.

We loved our time at the cottage it was clean secluded and surrounded by forest . Everything is easy to find they have a great little disc golf course at the community centre just up the road . Close to everything. If we ever come back to Quadra Island we would come and stay at Big tree cottage again.
