The rocky creek behind the huge yard is great for wading. In winter a woodstove keeps you cozy while you look through oversize picture windows at the snow. In summer you'll spend evenings on a large deck with grill and dining area, and gather around the Solo Stove fire pit before you fall asleep to the sound of the stream.

The cottage is a short drive to Phoenicia, Woodstock, Andes, and Margaretville for shopping, dining, antiquing, skiing and exploring.

Feeling all at once close to town center and yet completely enveloped in mountaintop thicket, this idyllic perch above Bovina sets the scene for many a cozy adventure - snowshoeing and fireside cider in the winter, and outdoor showers, hiking and porch hanging in the summer. The Catskill Forest Preserve is our backyard-literally (we have 5.9 acres that lead directly into the preserve). Only 5 min to Margaretville town center, grocery store, scenic train rides, restaurants. You'll love Solace for the secluded feel, views, cozy living space, and proximity to activities and necessities. Pets case by case.
