Tiny Houses als Ferienunterkünfte in Derbyshire Dales District

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Wales and it made for a surprisingly gorgeous stop-over. The grounds are stunning with plenty of space for the kids to run about and explore. The house was snug and perfect for the weekend. We loved spotting the roaming cows too! Liz was incredibly welcoming and friendly - thank you for having us :)

Absolutley lovely, the cabin was incredible with gorgeous views and very easy to access. Incredible offerings aswell, and very clean and tidy. Will definatley be staying again and will be recommending to friends and family. 10 out of 10

Excellent location very cosy home from home. Beautiful countryside views from the garden. Everything had been thought of to make our stay enjoyable. 9 mins drive to Manchester airport. Good start to our holiday. Highly recommend would definitely stay again.

What an incredible stay! Very convenient for our intended stay, and great value for money! Upon meeting Brian, he was very friendly and incredibly helpful in regards to showing us how to work everything in the home. It’s a lovely little secluded place with excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, and it’s right next to a walking track which could provide ample enjoyment for those who love to stretch their legs. Would love to come and stay again!

I had a pleasant stay at Jay's. The place was clean, private, and quiet, with clear instructions provided throughout. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this totally unique place for our week in and around Manchester. Everything was just perfect for our needs. The room was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. Response from Jason and Sophia was quick and welcoming. No complaints at all.

This was the perfect place to base a few days walking. The accommodation was small but very comfortable and our hosts provided lots of little extras which made us feel very welcome. The village is beautiful and the view from the room was really lovely. A bonus was a beautiful swimming spot just 5 minutes walk away in the river!

We had a fantastic stay. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and the views were amazing. The Hut was equipped with everything you’d need with plenty of towels and always plenty of hot water. The Hot Tub was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the shepherds hut. The views were incredible, the decking to sit on in the sun was just perfect. We loved watching the cows and it’s a 10 minute drive in either direction to even more beauty spots. The space is modern and comfortable and even though its small, everything we needed was provided and the shower was plenty spacious. We’d recommend stocking up the fridge when you arrive so you don’t need to venture out to the shops.

a great stay, Emi is very communicative and kind. wonderful birdsong and super quiet. I stayed for a course and could walk to it every day. beautiful surroundings, many walks. perfect for me!

What an amazing place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the stables. Rachael and Gerry were fantastic hosts from Rachael’s detailed instructions on how to get to The Stables and local recommendations for food and walks to Gerry’s super friendly and knowledgable talks on the history of the farm and the land around it. He went out of his way on the morning we were leaving to take us up into the woods to see the rocking stone and we were also had the privilege of a tour of Boulder cabin which looks amazing. The Stables itself is an absolute gem and is exactly as described. We enjoyed walking along to the pub after a day out walking across the fields and surrounding countryside and then coming back to the stables to sit out on the patio area and later in the evening cosying up in front of the log burner. The shower was lovely and warm and the bed was super comfy. Thank you Rachael and Gerry for sharing this gem and we will most definitely be back

Stayed for 3 nights and didn't see one person, i even went for a walk around the area... its what I wanted, peace and quiet... beautiful inside and out. I'm definitely going again loved it, I could live there.

Another brilliant stay here, we had a great time and the accommodation is beautiful. Really friendly hosts and helpful with all queries. We love it here and deffo will be back next year! Would recommend.

Once we found the farm, we were amazed by the views and the peaceful surroundings. Inside the lodge it was perfectly decorated, made to feel extremely cozy and space is utilised well. Elizabeth communicated well with us throughout and was very helpful with local recommendations for the area. The best part was definitely spending the evenings sat outside next to the fire pit, enjoying the animals and scenery around. I would highly recommend staying here.

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊

We had such a wonderful time staying at Hawthorn Cottage for my fiancé's birthday! The setting and the views were absolutely stunning. The hottub was set to the perfect temperature and was tucked into a lovely pagola with little lights—so pretty and cozy at night. The cottage itself had so much charm and character, making it one of the most memorable and unique getaways we've ever had in the UK.

The place is so cute and cosy, everything was perfect! Nicola was very patient considering we got lost on the way and she stayed on the line until we found the place (our fault for not being great with directions even though she sent us very clear instructions beforehand! haha). I would definitely recommend will probably stay there again in future! Thanks Nicola!

I had a fantastic stay with my dog Ralph. The hut is very comfortable, and the views are fantastic. The location is so peaceful, and there is a great walk right outside the farm gate. Thank you to the hosts :) I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again.

Absolutely lovely stay! Rachel was a brilliant host and would reply to any messages straight away. The location was amazing and private, in a really good location & had gorgeous views. Really comfy bed, has everything you need. Also love the idea of no WiFi !

Was a beautiful place for a solo get away from city life - a number of walks right from the farm land, I didn't need to use the car at all. The shepherd's hut itself was very cozy with all the essentials - particularly enjoyed the morning sunshine filling the space! (Having the animals around was a delightful bonus too). Would definitely stay again.

What an incredible little haven! We spent a few nights here just to rest and reset and the bus was absolutely perfect for us. Leon and Watson were amazing hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful. The bus has everything you need and the outdoor area is amazing, we loved the hot tub (we’ve been in quite a few but the one here is one of the best we’ve used!) and we LOVED to treetop cinema. Probably our favourite place we’ve ever stayed and we’ve recommended to all our family and friends. Thank you for an amazing stay!

It is rare something is better than the pictures but this is most definitely the case. The most beautiful setting and arguably one of the best equipped places I have stayed. Considering the size Richard has thought of everything. Richard was friendly and accommodating but equally left us to peacefully enjoy the space. Thank you so much Steve & Kate, not only are you both exceptionally friendly and welcoming but you have created the most beautiful & peaceful place. We were absolutely blown away that you have built the lodge yourself, the hard work and dedication speaks for itself, as it was perfect. We had lots of plans for our midweek getaway but they changed as we decided to stay local to badgers bottom and check out some local walks with our dog and then back to the lodge to chill, as we found it so quiet and relaxing. Steve gave us some fab recommendations for local walks which were great. You have both thought of everything we may need for a short stay and we will certainly be back!
