We had a 3 week stay and it was just fabulous! The balcony is the best part of the house. The view from balcony is much much better than what you get to see in pictures. We kept thinking if we could extend our stay. No one in my family felt like going back. House has great positive vibes! Bushra is truly an awesome host. She was always available for almost all the things whenever required during our 3 week stay! I certainly want to go back and stay in the same house in near future. If u want to stay away from hustle bustle of the city yet close to move around by car and see all the tourist place then this is the place to be in! When there were some construction works going on in the premises, effort was made to minimise the trouble caused to my stay. I gained much insight and information about Almora, and the Kumaon region in general, through conversations with the hosts. Good place to stay in Almora.

The apartment was aesthetically done with a focus on details, right from the kitchen to the art work across the rooms, to the washroom. The sitting room with glass doors overlooking the Mango trees and the balcony are splendid places to relax and cool down at any time of the day! Jassi the caretaker of the property is a kind soul and was super helpful at all times. Centrally located to all restaurants and most Corbett gates. One of the most well-done Airbnb's that we have stayed at. We already feel like coming back again!

The place is great and the view is amazing. The food is good too and pretty reasonable. The path to the place is a bit tricky but otherwise all great.

Firstly, the property has simply the best view of Bhimtal Lake. It's a beautiful place where you can spend time with your loved ones. The rooms also are facing the lake . The host is very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. As I am a local here I visit different properties but the Pencil House is one of the best property that I have been to in Bhimtal. Definately would recommend people to experience the beauty of this property but would also request the visitors to keep the place clean. Thank you Chitra Ji for the lovely stay ❤️

The host was veryyy nice. She was always there whenever I required help. The place was clean and comfortable. The view was also beautiful. I have no complaints with the place or the host or the services. Only one recommentation to the guests, this place is 10kms away from Nainital so if you are planning to commute by bike and with females then I will advice you to book a place near to Nainital.

The property is close to Mall Road and has a magnificent view of Naini Lake from the window. Debapriya is very proactive in communicating and caring for basic things during the stay. A few tips: 1. The Mall Road restricts taxi movement, so look for bike taxis to move around the property; bike taxis are easily spotable. 2. For food, there are many restaurants nearby; try Anupam on Mall Road for Kumaoni cuisine

The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. The check-in was easy. The rooms were clean, beds all made up, toilets were well maintained. Kitchen was great. The best part was the location. It was beautiful, the property is surrounded by mountains, it is a quiet and peaceful place. The lake is just in front of the property. One thing I would like to add is that the lake is not accessible directly from the property, for that you have to go around the property, which is not much of a task though. The caretaker was helpful and could also cook food if told him beforehand. The only problem I encountered there was of mobile network. Jio network did not work there but Vodafone-Idea worked flawlessly. The place doesn't have a WiFi which is not a big issue, but would be cherry on top if made available. Overall the stay was excellent, the rooms were huge and there was also provision of bonfire.
