Lovely apartment & within walking distance to city centre. The host gives clear instructions, is always responsive, & goes the extra miles to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible — highly recommend!

The location is amazing. You can easily find the museums you want to see and the flavors you want to taste nearby. Duygu's a very friendly person. She told us everything in the area before we asked. A wonderful house to stay with friends. And a great host.

My stay was absolutely perfect! Laura was there to greet me promptly at check in time with information on the city, restaurant recs and lovely conversation. The building is old and gorgeous only adding to the experience. With fresh sheets, towels and waterfall shower! The neighborhood is quaint and cute with everything you need in walking distance. It was a treat to be right on the canal as well. Laura brought breakfast each morning with a healthy assortment of breads, fresh fruit and more. (I'm pretty sure that was freshly squeezed fruit juice as well?!) Absolutely fantastic experience!

As advertised. Modern apartment in older building. Most attractions easily walkable but far enough away from the highest volume tourist areas.

It was an incredible stay, dead center between Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid stations. 5ish minute walk from Tram and Metro, beautiful canal views, and the restaurant Red next door is incredibly good. Can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed at Michiel's place for 3 nights and loved the apartment and the location. A ten minute walked got us to the Metro and the ride to the center of town was about 15 minutes. One day we decided to walk back from town, about 35 minutes and it was very pleasant. A Lidl grocery store is a 5 minute walk. Michiel was very responsive to our questions and gave us excellent answers. Appreciated the 1.5 baths, meaning, one bathroom had toilet and sink and the other had shower, tub and sink. If you plan on watching tv, you will need to download chromecast, but why watch tv when you can enjoy Amsterdam. Nice outside patio too. We would definitely stay there again.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in Stéphanies Haus. Die Lage war schön ruhig, ein Spielplatz vor der Tür, was perfekt mit Kindern war, und trotzdem waren wir mit Bus oder Metro schnell in der Stadt. Für uns der perfekte Ort um Abends nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag zu entspannen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, hell und komfortabel. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Stéphanie war eine sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Appartement très agréable, calme et accueillant. On se sent comme à la maison. Équipement de la cuisine permettant de cuisiner à notre guise. Petit coin de jardin apportant une touche de nature. Hotes réactifs et accueillants.

what a beautiful gem of a place to stay. outside the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam but easy enough to get into the centre by tram. the local area was lovely and calm and has some wonderful restaurants near by the Sarah recommended. Sarah also allowed us to check in early and leave our bags in the Airbnb whilst we explored before needing to head to the airport. her local recommendations were spot on and made the stay much easier. thank you.

Erik and Sandra’s home is lovely and perfect for families and big groups. It is well-located apx. 15-20 minute drive from the city Centrum). We had a great experience right from the check-in process to communicating with the hosts. Erik was super responsive and warm in welcoming us into their home.

Semuanya sangat sempurna hanya saja kami tidak menemukan plastik sampah, jadi kami fikir untuk menaruh botol dan bungkus sisa makanan diatas meja makan agar petugas kebersihan mudah untuk mengambil dan membersihkanya dan tidak berserakan di lantai. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Haus von Luc und seiner Familie. Der Check-in war denkbar unkompliziert, dank Schlüsselbox. Die Kommunikation mit Luc lief super. Toll war auch, dass es einen kostenlosen und sicheren Garagenstellplatz gab. Das Haus selbst bietet alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur 10min Fußweg entfernt. Es war traumhaft den Garten direkt am Kanal zu haben. Tagsüber konnten wir, dank der tollen Anbindung, Amsterdam erkunden und Abends "zu Hause" entspannen und schwimmen. Auch der Strand in der Nähe war super. Es war einfach die perfekte Mischung. Wir haben es geliebt!

Helena is a great and hospitable host and she made us feel welcome right away. The location is hard to beat, with tons to do in the immediate area and all of the major areas of the city reachable within a 30 minute walk.

We had a terrific stay at Fleur‘s place. There were tons of great restaurants and bars with an easy walking distance and the tram stop was just a two minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again. As Fleur mentioned, it can be loud at night, but we wore earplugs and didn’t have any problems sleeping. If you’re especially sensitive to noise, this could be an issue.

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!

This is exactly what we were looking for! This is the perfect location for those that want to be near the action but also not directly in the center. We stayed 6 nights for our first trip to Amsterdam. We ended up being here for Kings Day, which was not planned at all, but WOW such an experience. Brian was such a responsive host, who was able to provide local recommendations and was flexible with our check out. This place is so close to so much to do. It took a bit to become familiar with the transit systems as we do not have this in North Carolina but once we got the hang of it, we went everywhere. I would absolutely stay at this Airbnb again. Thank you Brian, for making our first trip to Holland the best.

Great week in an amazing, quiet apartment in the heart of Amsterdam. Frank was helpful and we enjoyed our stay. So close to metro and tram. Easy access to RAI for a meeting. In addition to stairs being steep, note that the shower is in a high bathtub- again would only be an issue if one has mobility issues.

Beautiful home with beautiful canal side view. This was a real Dutch home, not just a bare rental. Beautiful furnishings with home like details. Beautiful living room with large windows giving the canal view. Kitchen was cozy and well equipped. Lots of personal touches—tulips on the kitchen table etc. Great location with the tram to central station going by on the cross street. Great little restaurant with the best dishes and fries right next door—Bon Jour Bistrot, Albert Hijn super market 1 block away. Great Indonesian rijs taffel restaurant just around the corner, wonderful bakery on the corner 2 doors away. The house was quiet. Bart was a frequent helpful communicator. He was in touch with us daily. Because of the relatively steep steps up to the living room, it’s not a good place for someone with mobility issues. This was not an issue for us two who happen to be in our 70s, however. It was just everything we could expect.
