This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Situated adjacent to our Victorian farmhouse in a private location but within easy reach of the local shops and restaurants of Kilkeel & Annalong.

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Welcome to our newly refurbished large self contained studio apartment. It is nestled in the basement of a 200 year old traditional Irish farmhouse with its' own private entrance and overlooking stunning gardens. The studio is equipped with large flatscreen TV, high speed internet, and it just a five minute drive to the Hill of Tara, 10 minutes to the Hot Box Sauna, and 20 minutes from New Grange. In our back garden you might meet our two dogs, alpacas, pony, and our chickens.

Only an hour drive will take you to both Dublin and Belfast City (M1 Motorway Junction 16) We have lovingly restored and renovated this cottage over the years to provide a cosy and welcoming home.
