What a wonderful stay. We had a great time with our kids and dog (Vizsla) . We walked the farm, fed the horses and enjoyed cosy evenings at the fireplace. It was also close enough to Dullstroom to visit for a few hours each day. Leighton was a fantastic host. Can definitely recommend this place.

Malie's place exceeded our expectations in terms of conveniences, location, and layout. We met the lovely neighbours working on a community project in the park with their passle of doggies, and they were friendly and helpful. The house is situated with a veranda view over the park and mountains in a quiet area where you hear birdsong every day, which is delightful. We will certainly be returning here on any future visits to Boven.

We usually stay out of town, but given the short stay it was great to be so close to restaurants and things to do.

Perfect for Athletes doing a trainingcamp. Everything was perfect. Big and comfortable Beds. Fast and easy communication. And the Pizza oven ist a real Highlight. Can recommend

Beautiful place, breathtaking and a fantastic stay. Super friendly hosts and dogs. Hiking from your doorstep is amazing. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Shower is not the best as it seems to jump between temperatures, but that is the only thing I can nitpick about. Will def return

A gorgeous spot to enjoy nature and have some adventures. We travelled with a 5 and 2 year old and felt right at home. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and even included the kids in their family and friends Easter egg hunt. The property itself is so serene with so many hiking and walking spots. The minis, the chickens and the play equipment meant the kids felt right at home. The house itself was super comfy. Warm and had everything we needed. We had the best time! Thanks so much for hosting us!

What a gem in the heart of Mpumalanga! I recently went glamping at Ruth’s Airbnb and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking nestled in the mountains with stunning views in every direction. Sightseeing was a must, but honestly, just relaxing on the deck and taking in the scenery was enough to make me feel completely at peace. There was no reception, no WiFi! just pure vibes! It was such a refreshing digital detox. The gas heater was a lifesaver, especially with the cold nights. It made the cozy tent feel like a warm, dreamy escape. Speaking of the tent; it’s so aesthetically pleasing, you completely forget you’re “camping.” Every detail is thoughtful and well put together. Ruth and her staff were wonderful ,kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We had an amazing stay at the camping area. Our tent was nestled in a private, secluded spot, and the bathroom and kitchen facilities were clean and comfortable. The communal barn was a fantastic bonus - spacious, well-equipped, and lots of fun (the ping pong area was a highlight!). The surrounding area offered some lovely hiking trails with breathtaking views, and we only scratched the surface of what's available. We can't wait to come back and explore more soon!

The perfect weekend away! Very serene, comfortable, quiet, well looked after, spotless place. The staff were incredible, helpful, and kind. Debbie and Gerald are the perfect hosts! Our dogs also loved it! I would give 10 stars if I could :)

We weren’t ready for this. You read of amazing places and then you get there…. And sometimes when you get there they exceed your wildest expectations… this is one of those situations. From the spectacular setting with breathtaking views. An extremely well appointed kitchen to friendly staff that accommodates their guests around every corner. When can we visit again !?

Bakoni Forest Lodge is a great place to enjoy with friends or Family members.. The surroundings is beautiful and you hear the river flow while sitting next to the bonfire at night. The staff was super friendly and the service was 5star. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and surroundings to hike to the waterfall. Thank you Debbie and Gerald you made our stay one for the Books to remember!

Our stay at Riverman was exactly the getaway that we needed. It truly was so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The perfect reset.

An exceptionally beautiful stay. Comfortable cottage, incredible views and hiking trails and gentle sounds of birds in the day and frogs at night. Long dirt road, glad we used a 4x4 but so worth it.

This has been our second time here and we absolutely loved it! Peaceful, beautiful and private! The nature walk was a highlight and we loved fishing in the dams.

What a wonderful little getaway! This Airbnb is exactly as it’s name - ‘snug’! We loved everything about it! A constant fire burning by our bed at night and such a romantic old-school set-up!!! This is an ideal spot for a romantic weekend with your loved one!

We had a lovely stay in Sedgehog cottage, the gravel road is quite rough, so I would advise a high rise vehicle, other than that, finding the place was easy, access was very easy and the cottage was nice and clean, private with fire wood ready for both a braai and the fire place to escape the cold. The peace and quiet really provided us with the much needed rest from the city life, I didn't miss a TV for one second. Relaxing with a beer and hearing the crackling of fire wood while watching the sun set right in view did the thing. We did some hiking on the farm which was nice and the dams are beautiful and makes for a peaceful fishing spot if that's your thing. Morgan was the highlight of our stay, we couldn't wait for him to come and say hi at our cottage, he showed us the farm by accompanying us on our hikes, and he became best friends with our own dogs. We'll recommend this stay to our friends and I can definitely recommend it to whoever is reading this.

Great place to switch off and unwind. Lots of peace and quiet, with views over both farm fields and the little dam right off the enclosed Patio. We felt at home immediately, would love to go back soon. Dewald’s communication was always very responsive and helpful, and he immediately jumped in to help us out with our car’s dead battery.
