The Snug

The Snug is a modern self contained compact studio,recently renovated ,situated in a good location in the village of Ullapool,close to all local amenities. One of a few ,local guest accommodations that accepts one night stays. The Snug has a double bed (Simba ) ,shower, toilet, TV, ( free view) free WiFi, tea & Nespresso coffee machine, also towels/linen supplied.A small fridge on site. Best suited for couples or singles. Free on street parking & not in Cul de Sac or right outside my neighbours!

Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Conival is a warm comfortable house with stunning sea and mountain views.It has a large lounge and extremely well equipped kitchen downstairs with an additional lounge and kitchen area upstairs making the property ideal for two families sharing. It is quiet, isolated and forms the perfect base for a wide range of outdoor activities such as hill climbing, kayaking, walking and fishing all available locally. Large glass sliding doors allow floor to ceiling views of the sea, sky and Summer Isles.

Charming Eco friendly Highland Bothy - sleeps two.

Stay in this charming unique highland bothy nestled amidst idyllic woodland overlooking Loch Broom and the mountains beyond. Inside the bothy there is an easy to light wood burning stove , a kitchen area with hot and cold water and gas burner for cooking and traditional style highland box beds with interior lighting. There is a long deep window seat where you can sit to watch birds feeding outside or to enjoy the lovely view. Tor Bothy is low impact sitting in 7 acres of re- wilded land.

Adjoining our main house, Macmharais Beag is a totally self contained one bedroomed property and with its own private parking and decked seating area. Situated overlooking Gruinard Bay the property is perfectly placed for mountain walking, climbing, photographers, wildlife lovers, cyclists and bird watchers or for those just looking to relax and enjoy fabulous views from the sofa.

The Courtyard, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Whether your trip is focused on Ullapool and the surrounding area, or you want the perfect stop on the NC500, An Uamh is a great cosy flat for your stay. It has step free access, doors wide enough for wheelchairs, and off-street parking. An Uamh (pronounced something like "An Ooerv") is so named because of the nearby Assynt caves, which Hugh knows well.

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.
