Your space is in the lower half of a historic, Spanish style home in the neighborhood of Eagle Rock. Originally a speakeasy in the 1930’s, we’ve maintained its character while at the same time converting the bar area into a convenient kitchenette and adding a new modern bathroom. The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.

The Craftsman Highland Park Creative Stay.

Stay in my ADU, a historic house with a modern interior. It is a private one-bedroom space with a separate entrance. There is also a horizontal queen-sized Murphy bed in the back of the main room with a privacy curtain for extra guests. Amenities include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and separate fast wifi. The neighborhood is tranquil at night, even though it's on the main street. I am the homeowner and live on the other side of the house. Please read my complete listing before booking.

This is a serene, solar powered studio guesthouse surrounded by a flowering native garden (with veggies too) with full kitchen, set on 1/2 acre property - walking distance to Occidental College and York Blvd bars, shops & restaurants. We are 1 block from Highland Park (NELA)! Vintage appliances in the kitchen with a bathroom/shower as well as an outdoor shower set beneath a fruit filled Pomegranate tree.

Little Los Angeles Hideaway

Glass doors open onto a patio with lush trees, succulents, lounge chairs and a gas-operated firepit. Our studio in-law has a midcentury modern meets tree house feel to it. This little hideaway is completely detached from the main house and has its own separate entrance. A private bathroom is adjacent to the studio. While there isn't a stove for cooking, there is a small refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle, Kerug coffee maker, and microwave in the space.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

Highland Park Bungalow

Come stay in the downstairs unit of a historic 1920s California Style Bungalow. 7 min away from the the heart of Highland Park surrounded by restaurants, live music and LA's oldest bowling alley. There is a SEPARATE ENTRANCE and a beautiful back patio overlooking the garden. Extremely quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac for privacy and escaping the business of the city.
