Amid the salty air and birdsong, our bed looks to the trees and a deep bath with unlimited hot water. Humble living in luxury, the wood stove keeps things cozy and Belgian cushions are perfect for sprawling out in the evenings. Located in sleepy Lufra Cove, a magical corner of Eaglehawk Neck. Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

My beautiful vintage (circa 1890) cottage is divided into 2 stylish, adults only, apartments. Ocean & beach views of a stunningly beautiful natural environment (2 min stroll to beach.) Charming, rustic, authentic, warm and clean, full of character and stories. 14 min drive to Port Arthur. 50 mins to Hobart Airport. So much to do: scenic hikes, swimming, surfing and snorkelling, beach walking, visiting nearby wineries, watching whales, dolphins, seals & albatross. You wont want to leave.

Ocean View Coastal Holiday House

Ocean View is a modern well equipped house situated on 4 acres of rain forest, minutes walk from the beautiful surf beach at Eaglehawk Neck and the Tessellated Pavement. Stunning ocean and bush views, and a comfortable and peaceful environment ensure a relaxing stay. Tasman Council rules mean that we can accommodate a strict maximum of 4 guests at any one time. Infants are free but count as a guest. Please don’t book for four guests and then message requesting to have additional guests stay.

Switch gears in the classic arcade game room with billiards, pool, pinball, and original arcade hits from the 80s and 90s.

Experience the magic of a tiny cabin set amongst a grove of gum trees beside a creek around the bend from an isolated beach in a little-known corner of Tasmania. Everything is tiny, but guests tell us it has everything you need... including some luxurious touches like European linen. We are happy to offer our family beach front shack for you to enjoy. "Wee Doo" is situated on the beach at Pirates Bay, "Doo Town", Eaglehawk Neck. EHN is the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula, Port Arthur, The Tessalated pavement, Devils Kitchen and the Three Capes Walk to name just a few. Fishing, surfing, bush walking or just relaxing are some of the pastimes you can enjoy right on your door step. Private beach access Wee Doo is newly renovated and fully self contained.

Winkle Shack - waterfront, wood fire, outdoor bath

In Tasmania, a shack can be anything from a corrugated iron lean-to, to an architect designed home. Our place falls somewhere in between, but we reckon it’s one of the best shacks in Tassie. In a sheltered, waterfront spot, it’s a classic little vertical board place built by a family in the 1960s as a get away from Hobart that we've kept improving over the years. This is our family get away, the place that our kids have grown up and memories built.
