Excellent spot for a quiet overnight or weekend !! It’s easy access into the river and is shallow. Great for navigating up and down stream for fishing. Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character.
