Lovely b&b, very comfortable, clean room with everything you need. I felt it was even better than the description. The en suite was spotless, the bed comfortable and there was a good sized tv as well as separate sitting room with a microwave, fridge and tv if required. Maria was a friendly and welcoming host and made a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice.

A great place to stay for countryside nature and walking.Very comfortable bed and very clean room and bathroom. The breakfast is amazing and Gina goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

Delightful stay, room was cosy and super clean. Warm and comfortable too - the place felt very homely. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and we enjoyed the privacy of the dining area (with a welcome addition in Norman). Gina was very friendly and helpful throughout - would definitely stay again!

Had such a wonderful stay, and I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Maria is very friendly and takes care of all of her guests in a friendly manner. Btw, She also makes an incredible omelette! The place is quiet and neat and the surroundings are peaceful; and just a walk from the local dinner/bar and the yoga studio Wellnest and a 5 min drive to cute Howden. Thanks again :)

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a family event. Couldn't fault anything. Massive comfy bed and beautiful quality bed linen. Fresh milk, which is a bonus and lovely large shower with quality toiletries.

A true gem! The most beautiful, characterful home in the most wonderful setting. Jane was the perfect host and provided delicious, home cooked breakfasts and so many local recomendations for walks and the best pubs. We loved every moment of our stay and will be back again soon for another stay!

We had the most perfect stay at The Larch Room. Beautifully located in a pristine hamlet with the most amazing host. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived. Hannah was always responsive and gave us the warmest of welcomes, with her wonderful family. I cannot recommend Hannah’s scrambled eggs on toast enough 🥰 so far as to say it would be worth the drive from the Lake District just to have it again! There has clearly been love, care and attention put into the The Larch Room and if ever in the area again we would not hesitate to book straight away and advise you to stop looking and just book it too 😌. Katrina was a very welcoming host, all needs were catered for. Everything was perfect for our overnight stay.

We enjoyed our stay with Stephen and Alison. Very easy to get on with, friendly and easy going. Naburn is close to York and was a good base for our Yorkshire break. We would recommend this as a place to stay and would look to staying again if returning to the area.

Silke and Kevin were very friendly and happy/ eager to help, and made our Golden Retriever Alfie feel very welcome as well. Beautiful, peaceful view sitting on the settee in the bedroom. Warm and comfortable, lovely bath.

Amazing mattress I didn't want to get up and go work. Amazing host. Not everyday youve got Sky Tv in an Airbnb. Amazing stay as a football fan I was able to watch my football games. Clean room clean bathroom clean kitchen. Special cutleries for the guest. Always available to help in anyway. If im in York again id definitely would love to stay over.
