The Airbnb truly felt like home. It was a perfect place for all of us to get together. Kunzang was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I had informed him that we would be arriving early, and he welcomed us with no hesitation. On the day we were leaving, our cab was delayed by a few hours. Kunzang was kind enough to let us stay a bit longer, which we really appreciated. Thank you for hosting us. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others, and I’m already looking forward to booking it again!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Gangtok! The location is very convenient—just about 5 km from MG Marg, and getting a taxi is never a problem. If you’re driving your own car, you’re welcome too, as the property is close to a dedicated and safe parking spot. What truly made this stay special was the incredible hospitality of the host Sanskriti and her father. They treated me like family—more like guardians than hosts. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was equipped with a brand-new fridge, bed, and cover, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the furniture was from Damro—high-quality and premium. It’s clear that they aren’t just running this place for money; they’re truly passionate about providing the best hospitality possible. Out of all my hill station stays, this has been the best experience so far. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok—you won’t be disappointed.

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Gangtok. The house was exceptionally spacious, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for families. The highlight was the large balcony with a great view, along with an extremely spacious living room and open kitchen that created multiple cozy hangout zones for everyone to relax and connect. The hosts — a warm, welcoming couple — made us feel completely at home with their kindness and attention to detail. On request, they served delicious home-cooked meals made from their own home-grown organic ingredients — every dish was fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The entire property was maintained with excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They also kindly allowed us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. A truly peaceful, comfortable, and heartwarming stay. Note: They can also assist with local travel if needed.

Excellent place for the family to stay. Great location to reach MG road. Host and the staff are will keep you over pampered. I have not seen a helpful host like this over the year.

We had the most perfect BNB experience. Place was spotless with a great view. The house was excellently designed and furnished. The location is great too - just a short walk to MG mart and nice restaurants. Swiggy delivery was also available. Overall, a highly recommended stay in gangtok

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

The place was incredibly cozy and warm with everything you need in a stay. Uppi is one of the sweetest and friendliest guys you will ever meet. Absolutely loved it and will definitely wanna stay here again whenever I am in Gangtok the next time!

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

I recently had a wonderful two-day stay at this charming place. Simon was responsive and attentive, making us feel right at home. The well-maintained space was spotless and inviting. I appreciated the comfortable amenities and the host's helpful recommendations. Can't recommend this place enough!
