Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Die Unterkunft ist für die Durchfahrt oder auch für einen längeren Urlaub geeignet. Der Hof und die Umgebung bietet Möglichkeiten für vielerlei Aktivitäten im Sommer wie auch im Winter. Am Hof gibt es eine Modelleisenbahn, ein Hofmuseum und eine Bioimkerei mit Honigverkauf. Die Hofsauna kann für den eigenen Gebrauch reserviert werden. Bademöglichkeit am See auf Anfrage.

This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site. Prices for bear hide tours can be found on the BearCentre website.
