Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

I would highly recommend to stay here. beautiful scenery, had all the amenities that you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable . The host was very responsive and friendly. I will return :)

We had a lovely stay at Cody and Jenny’s place. The view was amazing, the sound of the waves were very soothing. It was nice to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The house looked just like the pictures and the view was spectacular. With the cooler temperatures outside the house stayed nice and warm inside. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals and of course, morning coffee. The fire pit and the deck by the shoreline was a nice addition to the property. We spent time visiting different places in town and one of the local sandy beaches. Walking the shore line can be a little tricky with the big rocks but we were able to find some nice rocks to bring home. We will definitely be back again.

Very welcoming host. Space was comfortable and had everything we needed. The sauna was an awesome addition. View was beautiful. Very peaceful area. Other guests in the area but everyone is very peaceful and respectful. Will stay again!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Everything was great and as listed in the posting. The lake view is amazing and I’d love to come back in the summer when it’s not frozen. : )

Gregory’s place was amazing! With having the lake in your backyard and being 5 minutes from some great restaurants AND its basically next door to a fudge shop, it’s a 10/10. We would definitely stay at Gregory’s place again!!

It was just what we thought. Holiday weekend for our first trip. This was a convenient spot to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfortable. 4 Adults were not crowded. Owner responsive for a few questions. Happy with stay.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

We absolutely loved staying at the Blue Heron House! Our daughter loved playing on the beach, shallow and perfect for small children! The house was stocked with everything we needed, lots of baby/children items and outdoor toys included which made our stay so much easier! It is in a very nice and friendly area, giving you some privacy but also close enough to many tourist attractions. It was the perfect place to stay during our UP vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay, the view and the hosts left out lots of little extras like breakfast for the first morning, coffee, tea, eggs, milk, as well as a little for the evening like wine, beer and homemade brownies, so delicious! They were also very responsive Will definitely recommend them to others and come back

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

Beautiful place! Our group of 10 had a great time! Sunrises were amazing and the views of Mackinac Island were beautiful! There was enough seating in the kitchen and on the deck which was a huge plus!! Loved the space and the yard and that it is right on the water!

My wife and I booked this rental for a 30th Wedding Anniversary getaway and to see the fall colors. This is a great house in a great location. It is very well stocked with everything one would need. Our favorite part of the house was the breezeway with the table where we would eat and had a great view of Whitefish Bay while doing so. There was even a pair of binoculars there to see the freighters out in the bay. We made several day trips during the week visiting many State Parks and looked forward to returning to grill our supper. We had an issue related to a storm that came through early in our stay. After contacting Brooke, she made arrangements to get a repair made and it happened promptly. Brooke kept in contact with us to make sure everything was fixed. She is a great host of this wonderful property. We had a delightful time during our stay and hated to leave when the week was done. We highly recommend this great property that has a great host. The Mackinac Memory Maker is a truly wonderful home! Lisa is a next level amazing host. The home is completely stocked with anything and everything you could possibly want or ask for. The location is perfect, far enough to be secluded and private yet close enough to all the local attractions and needed spots. Super clean and welcoming and the views are spectacular!! I can’t recommend this place more or say enough positive things about how much our family enjoyed this stay. Thank you lose for sharing your home!!!
