Our stay at Anne’s was fantastic! The whole house was immaculate, basic necessities and more were provided, and left us very sweet gifts such as a Yule log for New Years. Anne checked in with us the whole time via airbnb messages to ensure everything went smoothly and provided great recommendations. It was a lovely cozy place to go at the end of the very wet few days in Edinburgh. Easy to use taxis/uber and close to public transportation. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a lovely stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood just a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. The house was clean and had all the listed amenities. Alison and James were always responsive and friendly.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön - wie auf den Bildern zu sehen! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Edinburgh - wunderbar, um von dort aus in die Stadt oder mit dem Mietwagen in die Natur zu fahren. Unser Gastgeber war immer sehr gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Ein Nachteil war (für uns) die Auffahrt: Durch den Schotteruntergrund sind die Reifen bei der Einfahrt durchgedreht und bei der Ausfahrt ist der Wagen trotz Bremsen weiter hinab getuscht. Das war etwas nervenaufreibend. Insgesamt würden wir diese Unterkunft aber in jedem Fall empfehlen!

My family had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Charles’ home. Kenneth supported a very smooth check-in and was super friendly and responsive. I really appreciated that the hosts were very responsive and also transparent about the feasibility of staying in their home with a baby. The home itself was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and was very peaceful to relax while watching the river flow by. We will be back!

Mistwood is an incredible place to stay. Filled with exquisite furnishings and stunning eclectic pieces of artwork. Spotlessly clean and everything we wished for in a home from home in Scotland. The addition of a beautiful outdoor hot tub was sheer bliss and provided a zen time in the garden filled with birdsong. This incredible home is dog friendly which meant our little Sophie could be with us in Scotland. The garden is filled with beautiful plants and shrubs and is totally doggy secure. We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The location is fantastic and only 20 minutes drive into Edinburgh. Jane and her co hosts were brilliant at making us feel so welcome and we would highly recommend a stay at this stunning property.

A lovely little cottage to enjoy the beautiful North Queensferry. The house is beautifully presented and really feels homely and welcoming. The bedrooms are great sizes and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding area. Everything you could need in the property, great kitchen, bathroom, comfy beds. Able to park the car off the road, which was a nice bonus. Approx 45 minute walk in to centre, where we visited the castle and shops. Great pub - The old chain pier down at the harbour (about 10 minute walk) and a great harbour for sunsets and a cold beer. Skye’s apartment is lovely and the location is perfect. It’s very near the Meadows and Arthur’s seat so we enjoyed some nice walks as the weather was great. It’s also a short distance walk to the old town. The flat in itself is very nice, warm, cosy and quiet- the bathroom was modern and the bedroom charming. Skye left some treats, coffee and tea for us to enjoy. I would definitely come back or recommend it.

Had a great few days in this wonderful apartment. The location was perfect and walkable to everything we wanted to do in the city. Communication was exceptional both before and during our stay, from instructions to help us easily find the home, as well as immediate responses to a few questions we had while we were there. We especially appreciated the use of the storage area so we could drop our luggage and explore a bit before checking in. We appreciate all your efforts to make our stay perfect!

The 4 of us had a lovely stay at Gregs Apartment. Lovely 2 bedroom and 2 bath, with separate kitchen and living room. All lovely decorated, very clean and comfy beds. Its perfectly located on Rose Street, so you can do everything by foot. Next Door Mussels Inn Restaurant was great for fish. The apartment is on 3rd floor, so as stated in the description you need to get your luggage up there. Also it gets loud outside, so if you need to keep the window open and you’re a light sleeper, this might not be the best option for you. But closing the windows really reduces the noice. We really enjoyed it, also thanks to Greg for the nice communication and clear instructions and being very welcome always.

This place is gorgeous! We loved the neighborhood and wished we could’ve spent more time here. Valda was so friendly and helpful during check in and sent a guidebook with great recommendations that we added to our itinerary. Stockbridge had lots of great restaurant and bar options within short (~0.5 mile) walking distance. It was around a 20 min walk to old town but we used the city buses to save our steps for the rest of the day. It was easily accessible with a bus stop just around the corner. Would definitely stay here again!

Kaveh checked in on us when we got into the apartment to ensure everything was up to our standards. Always kind and the place was lovely. The start of our trip was very challenging and to finally arrive here made us feel like we were at home. Thank you Kaveh

Trudi´s apartment is great, we enjoyed it, one of the best we were accomodated in. Rooms are spacious beautifully equipped with many useful facilities and comfortable. Location is super, you can walk nerly everywhere, it is close to main turistic places, shops, restaurants and also public transport.

Our stay at 21 Jeffrey Street was truly outstanding; easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The apartment is in a perfect location, just steps from the Royal Mile and a short walk to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and Waverley Station. Everything you need is within easy reach. The flat is beautifully presented, stylish, and very comfortable. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making the space welcoming and functional. The furnishings are tasteful, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially loved the charming Old Town views from the windows. Yes, there are four flights of stairs, but they’re absolutely worth it for the peace, views, privacy, and charm of this top floor flat. Check-in was seamless, with great communication from our host, who was helpful and responsive throughout. We felt well looked after and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A true gem in the heart of Edinburgh. Thank you!

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 other adults - one of the best decisions! As a start, check-in was smooth. Everyone has their bed, towels which is great. Had to figure out the heater (our country is Summer all year) and Lukas was very responsive. This location is almost a straight drive to the city centre. With free parking at the location, it gave us great relief to know we won’t get penalised. Love this place! I would recommend this to others.

A great experience from booking to check out. William sent a message as soon as we’d booked with clear directions and instructions for check in. The house itself is just beautiful with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We visited as my daughter was in a gymnastics show closeby- we’re already hoping the show is in the same place next year so we can book again! Thank you ☺️

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

The host with friendly, kind and always helpful. We did not want to leave this place was amazing and so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. Exceptional

The Airbnb is located at a very convenient location, quite close to the Portobello Beach, which is a short walk away. It is also close to good Restaurants, Bus Stops and a pharmacy is around the corner as well. There also a couple of parks around if you want to lounge about amongst nature. The AirBnB room itself was very clean, cosy and comfortable with clean linen and a very nice big and clean bathroom as well. Suzanna, the host is very friendly and warm. She had some interesting inputs on the places to eat, the modes of travel like bus routes and places to avoid taking the car. We had a great time staying out of Suzanna’s abode & would highly recommend it if you’re planning a trip in Edinburgh! P.S: there is no breakfast included, but good options around.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.
