Very comfortable place for us to spend time in Central Illinois and visit lots of family in surrounding towns.

I got ready at this place for my wedding with my bridesmaids and it was absolutely perfect! The host was so nice and the place was clean! Very easy check in as well. The place is very private and secluded which is also a plus! Would definitely recommend:)

Quiet space in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room for multiple families to both come together and spread out. Well stocked with necessities and the pool is a great amenity!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was also very clean, from the bedrooms and living room to the kitchen, which had all of the utensils, pot and pans you'd need for cooking. We also unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night and Lori quickly responded and made it happen seamlessly for us.

The Owls Nest was a perfect place to stay with our family and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard had plenty of room, a fire pit and nice sized deck. The bedrooms were all cozy and had comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room to play games or watch a movie and the kitchen has everything you need . We love to hike and Mt Bike and this location was close to many hiking trails and about a 5 min drive to Touch of Nature trails for riding. We would definitely book another stay at the Owls Nest!

nice house by the lake

The location was truly fantastic, offering a wonderful sense of privacy. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the excellent hot tub. The only area for improvement would be the couch, which unfortunately wasn't as comfortable as the rest of the accommodations.

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!
