Be the Station Master in this lovely two bedroom first floor apartment which has been restored to its former glory but given the contemporary touches that complete a relaxing break. Enjoy peaceful views to surrounding mountains and watch the trains right underneath your window! Half a mile from NC500 too! Sorry no children under 13 or pets.

Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance.
