From the moment we stepped in the door, Edgewater Escape felt like home. I have never stayed in a place that was so beautifully decorated and fully equipped to make our stay perfectly comfortable. You could tell that the owners put a great deal of effort into providing this home with top of the line everything...from the furnishings, appliances, kitchenware, linens, towels, soaps, and even the outdoor items Our group of eight fit nicely in this home and utilized everything it had to offer. We made s'mores at the fire ring, went kayaking on the lake, played board games at the kitchen table, prepared all our meals in the immaculate and well-stocked kitchen, and grilled and dined out on our deck as we watched boaters pass by. It was a short walk into town to shop or grab a quick snack. David and Gina were there to greet us upon our arrival to show us around and answer any questions. We came for a running race on Presque Isle, but fell in love with this charming home and town.

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

Super cute lake house, the dogs felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The windows in the living room always had an interesting show of nature for us all to enjoy, the duck visit was very exciting 😁

This was our fourth stay at Jeff and Anne’s beautiful lake home and it just gets better every year. So peaceful and the surroundings are just spectacular. Jeff was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for another wonderful vacation.

Pros: Great value for the price! The cottage is very close to the docks and boat house where kayaks and canoes are stored, all complimentary with the Airbnb. 3 bedrooms available with comfortable beds. Basic kitchenware was included, but you should bring extra items if you want to do any specialty cooking (a wok for example). No television available, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway. Woods nearby have trails for hiking. Cons: Limited parking if you have a larger party. A maximum of 3 cars could park comfortably, 4 if you double park. Cell service was limited for most carriers. Verizon had 2-3 bars, Virgin Mobile had no service. Wifi is available, but it is limited as well (1-2 bars in most parts of the cottage). There is a road between the cottage and the lake, but it's only two lanes and can be easily crossed. Overall: Very good Airbnb for a weekend getaway! We housed 6 guys comfortably and are very likely to return for future visits. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at Rebecca and Eric's cottage. The layout of the home is great, and it provided more than enough space for four adults and one child. We loved our morning walks to the lake and through the neighborhood - such a peaceful and relaxing setting. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Rebecca and Eric were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would love to stay again the next time we are in town!

Absolutely amazing place. Clean, comfy, on the water. parking, spacious. fire pit. unbelievable local town with amazing people. awesome local restaurants. HIGHLY recommend this listing.

The cottage is in a perfect location for family to enjoy all the activities at Edinboro lake over the 4th July. Loved the smokeless fire pit. Great front porch to gather on. Would recommend this as a great family vacation destination.

My family and I stayed at Tony’s place for a long weekend and I have to say it was amazing!! First of all Tony made sure that we had proper directions to the property and how to access the house. Upon entering the house we were astounded by how lovely Tony’s lake house is and then the views of the lake were just panoramic!! We could not have found for a better place to stay! We had easy access to our own private little beach, it was literally right outside the sliding glass doors and we could sit on the patio and watch the sun both rise and set. The kitchen was fully equipped, the house was very spacious and we were excited to find a bookshelf full of childrens books which made our little one very happy. Yes there were quite a few steps to access the property but we found the journey up and down the steps very doable and the path was very well lit. It was exciting going down those steps through the wooded property and watching the lake views unfold. We would definitely return!!

The Cottage was absolutely perfect. The community was so nice, the scenery was amazing, and everyone was friendly. We walked, ran, and took our little one to the nearby playground, and she loved it! We ate at Fat Willie’s and John’s Wildwood Pizza, and HIGHLY recommend both! This was the perfect house for the three of us, and we certainly plan on coming back. It was so easy communicating with Karen, we did not need to get in touch with her except for check in and out because everything was spelled out so well. When we did communicate, she was quick and thorough. I can’t speak highly enough about the home, community, and overall experience. We CERTAINLY, plan on coming back.

Great place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing. It was wonderful to have access to the kayaks and canoes. Also, a decent size table. Kitchen had adequate supplies.

Such a cute and comfy home right on the lake! It has such a warm and cozy feel, we had a wonderful albeit short stay here! Leigh was fantastic, very responsive and helpful. Perfect host! The home and lake shore property were beautiful and relaxing. Very clean home, comfortable bed, easy to access location. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

This cottage was exactly what we needed to do some ice fishing and to go tubing at peek n peek resort. I would love to go back in the summer months to relax and enjoy the Lake view from the porch.
