I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. Great stay for our little family. Loved the cottage and the neighborhood. It was close to many stores and easy access.

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Diane is a great host and responds quickly. The home is comfortable and has all the necessary features for a comfortable stay. There is a gem of a record collection to be enjoyed. It is secluded so there is an enjoyable drive through beautiful surroundings.

Cute, old cottage. Appointed with all amenities. We did not cook there; however, it was really well stocked. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and stores. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was wonderful! The cleanest AIRBNB we have ever stayed at! You have the most gorgeous view of the mountain, and the koi pond and creek below you! Such a peaceful surrounding for a quick escape!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the spot! Looking out at the views was spectacular and it was so relaxing to sit and unplug for the weekend. Super comfortable bed upstairs. The hosts were so kind. It was lovely to watch the goats, horses, and chickens. There were lots of good restaurants around between North Bend and Snoqualmie. Highly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!!

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication a breeze. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and local attractions. home away from home and great area

We had a great time staying here! The location was great and the house was very clean and peaceful. If we ever come back to the area we would love to stay here again.

Staying with Rick was like staying with a good friend you haven’t seen in a long time. The cabin is super cute and has its own private dog yard. Rick is incredibly accessible and friendly. I only wish we had more time to hang out with him and his cute pup Chompski. They are the consummate hosts! When we come back to Whidbey, we will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Kristin and Stuart's cottage. It was sparkling clean, comfortable, and in a serene setting. The decor was beautiful and the gardens were peaceful. It was close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. I felt right at home and we loved coming back after a long day of sight seeing. Kristen and Stuart are friendly and very responsive. They are very easy going and very welcoming. We already want to go back! We will miss the cottage; it was magical. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

We just had the most relaxing and memorable stay at Rick’s property. The amount of love he’s poured into his place and the ways he intentionally makes you feel cared for as a guest are so special and rare. From the moment we connected to meeting him in person, we’ve never had a more generous and kind host (and I say this as a well-traveled, frequent AirBnB guest). Rick’s place is immaculately clean. He has thought of every detail and even treated us to snacks, wine, and more which were truly above and beyond. From luggage racks to extra blankets to quality pillows to having a fan (my husband needs white noise to sleep), we were so impressed! The views and sunset are absolutely stunning and Rick’s place lets in a ton of natural light, while still respecting your privacy. My review doesn’t do the property or Rick’s hosting justice, but all of this is to say that we had an amazing stay and are already planning our return! I wish we could this 10 stars! Cute converted garage apartment. Tammy is very nice and was helpful during our stay. Convenient location to Seattle, lots of good food close to the house.

Perfectly located and comfy spot. Near the gorgeous Arboretum for endless exploration. It was gloriously in bloom when i was there. So many fabulous restaurants a stone throw a way. The icing on the cake though, the hummingbird sitting on her nest in the back yard....she knew this is a good safe spot to build her nest and care for her young.

The place was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable! I got in late after a concert, and even though we accidentally woke the host, he was very kind and accommodating. I’ll definitely keep this spot in mind for future stays—thank you!

The uniqueness of the place becomes evident as you walk through the yard. It's comfortable but not overly manicured. The same can be said of the house. It's a garage converted to a house that still has the garage doors. It was clean, quiet, and surrounded by trees. We loved it—so much so that we will be staying there again next month. Two things of note: 1. If you plug in a couple of hair dryers and blow a circuit breaker, the fuse box is behind the refrigerator. 2. There is a step up to the shower and toilet, which can be surprising if you forget about them when you get up at night. Nothing major, just the quirks of a unique stay.
