Ferienunterkünfte am Wasser in Faial Island

Great location just steps from the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed, lots of tv stations. Jorge was very attentive and even provided a lunch snack for our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Both Olga and Helena are such lovely ladies! The place is very clean and cozy, very well equipped. The kitchen has all you need for a few days stay, there were also some fruits for me to have. And the figs from Olga's garden! Never had better ones, so delicious! The bed was very comfortable! Lovely shop nearby where you can buy some groceries as well as have a glass of wine on a little terrace. Santo Amaro is such a nice and strategical town to stay to explore the Pico island.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man hat alles was man braucht. Man hat viel Platz und fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Lage hat für uns gut gepasst. Liegt nicht weit weg vom Flughafen. Andreia hat immer schnell geantwortet. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen:).

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Man konnte gemütlich am Tisch sitzen, die Schiebefenster weit aufmachen und saß somit fast auf der Promenade mit Blick auf Pico. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt für Leute mit leichtem Schlaf: die Autos und Motorräder, die vor dem Haus über die Kopfsteinpflaster Straße fahren sind sehr laut, aber nicht viele.

We loved this place - super clean and great location as its walkable to a sand beach and into the town of Horta and 10 min drive to airport! Rosa and Alexandra were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Paulo's place was lovely - very clean, spacious and with fantastic views of the ocean and Pico mountain. Walking distance from the centre of town and close to a bakery and a couple of restaurants.

My friend and I absolutely loved this place! We can’t have imagined a better home away from home during our time on the beautiful island of Faial. From the very beginning, when we had to reschedule our stay due to a change with our flights, Paula was responsive, friendly, and helpful. We we arrived in Faial, Paula met us at the apartment, showed us how to get inside, and chatted about recommendations for how to spend our time over the next couple of days. We loved everything about her apartment; it was even cuter and more spacious than the pictures implied! We enjoyed cooking a fish dinner in the kitchen, spending time on the balcony viewing Pico, and checking out her books about the Azores. The apartment was a lovely location too! We slept well with super comfortable bedding and a good temperature in the apartment. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great for a shower after a day of hiking! We would definitely recommend this home to others! Thank you, Paula!

Heel mooie rustige plek vlak bij zee. In het huis was alles aanwezig en we kregen eigengemaakte wijn en brood. Heel attent! Twee hele kleine puntjes ter verbetering misschien, het was, zo vroeg in het jaar, behoorlijk koud in de kamer en er was geen verwarming helaas ( in de slaapkamer gelukkig wel! En die was al voor ons aangezet ook!). Verder beschikte de televisie wel over alle nodige kanalen maar was ie wel wat erg klein.

Casa molto carina e curata, host molto simpatica e gentile, sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. La zona è molto tranquilla, è a cinque minuti da una bellissima spiaggia ed è molto facile da trovare. Speriamo di ritornare

Ana is a great host and her house is a gem. We were welcomed with fresh fruit on top of all advertised amenities. The house is pristine, state of the art renovations with everything one needs on a vacation stay. Thank you Ana, too bad we couldn’t stay longer!

Diese Unterkunft war das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts auf den Azoren. die Lage und die Ausblicke sind fantastisch. Wäre im der airbnb-Skala nicht bei maximal 5 Punkten Schluss, hätte ich zehn vergeben. Einrichtung und Architektur wirken in der Realität noch schöner als es auf den Fotos rüber kommt. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen.

Wir waren sechs Nächte in dem wunderschönen „Casa Do Gato Preto“. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und persönlich eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war sehr sauber. Wir wurden mit Milch, Kaffee, Marmelade und leckerem Geburtstagskuchen empfangen. Marina ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam,hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, die Lage hervorragend um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder gerne dort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Das Haus ist nur zu empfehlen.

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

Amazing stay. The place is gorgeous with a fantastic view over the ocean and a beautiful swimming pool. The check in is super flexible, we could arrive earlier than expected and leave later. Worth the price
