Brents place was perfect. Clean, cozy and private.

We loved our stay at Hart house. We were surprised to arrive and see it really was right across the street from the temple. It was an amazing view, not to mention the view of the mississippi river down the hill. The home is appointed in antique and arts & craft period pieces. There was lots of room for our family of 6 too. It was beautiful and just fantastic. The weather got cold and very windy and we enjoyed staying indoors that evening and enjoying the beautiful home and view. This is not a comment on the house but Nauvoo in general for April. There is very little to eat in town. There is no grocery store in town and Keokuk 20+min away is the closest city with grocery stores. We decided we’d just eat out. Well, Casey’s gas station is the only place open for breakfast before 10am, and gratefully, their breakfast pizza and breakfast wraps are ok. For dinner, the nauvoo inn is open on the weekend but on a weekday night, the Red Front is all that’s open. Just a heads up!

Overall, the home was a perfect spot for our group of friends. There were six of us in our group and the home was perfect size for us. We selected the location for the close proximity to Lake Sugema, only minutes away. The home was large enough to accommodate our group. The beds were comfortable, and every room had a ceiling fan, both a must in my book when traveling. The host, Tony was responsive to my questions and flexible to work with.

The place was clean and looked just like the photos. Host left cookies which was a wonderful thought. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was a beautifully restored historic home - a perfect place for our first visit to Washington, IA. It felt tucked away but was walking distance from the town square and close to everything. The home had lots of space to spread out and more than enough amenities to satisfy all our needs. We would definitely come back and stay in this home again if given the chance.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Nauvoo. It’s right in town and just a few minutes to all of the main sites. It was a perfect location. It was easy to find and easy to check in. Very clear instructions and we didn’t have a single problem. The host was incredibly Responsive and so kind to accommodate us on a last minute booking. The house was super clean, bright and had everything we would need. Clean, fresh linens and towels. The kitchen is new and nice with a good supply of whatever we’d need. We loved the deep, single basin farm sink. My kids enjoyed the games and played Guess Who atleast a hundred times. We would rent this place again if we can come back to Nauvoo. Finding flights for a family of 8 from Utah wasn’t easy, but it was so worth it! Thanks for a great stay! Beautiful little town!

What a beautiful place to stay. Exactly as pictured. We felt as though we were the very first occupants as everything was fresh, new, and clean. Spacious and had everything a person would need and beyond. Will definitely be booking a stay in the future.

When we first stepped into this home, we were all hit with nostalgia. There were so many things in this home that brought back forgotten memories of Grandpa's house or a childhood cabin. The home was clean and the 3 bedrooms were so handy. We spent the evening playing Battleship and watching Charlotte's Web on VHS on bunk beds. It was like being a kid again. There was a ping pong table and bean bag boards in the basement. We explored the 3 acres and the cemetery next door. It was nice parking our vehicle in the garage as it was raining when it was time to leave. The land is beautiful. It truly felt like our own family's cabin. Joseph was a great communicator and we appreciated this homey home on the last night of a very long road trip. We all highly recommend it!

Really great place to stay in Nauvoo. Great price for a spacious and clean place to stay with everything we wanted.

This location was fabulous! I loved being able to walk into downtown and visit everything available there. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Washington again.

Sandy's comfortable place is in a perfect location for enjoying downtown Washington, Iowa. It made our visit even more enjoyable.

Great place to stay

Michaela’s loft is a gem in the heart of Fairfield, just around the corner from the town square with its charming shops and restaurants. The space is clean and aesthetic, and is beautifully finished, with a lovely and spacious bathroom and great kitchen facilities. Michaela is a friendly and responsive host, and we would definitely return for future visits!

I spent a week with my wife in Nathan's place. Well equipped, great price, good location in Fairfield. I would definitely recommend it.
