Locally there is choice of restaurants, pubs and shops along with open countryside, walks and a country park with sailing, boardwalks, cafe and bird viewing hides overlooking the lakes.

Peaceful and quiet but within easy walking distance of a 17th Century pub serving real ales and pub food. The market town of Olney with its restaurants, bars, antique shops and supermarkets is 2 miles away. The annexe is in the garden of a Grade II Listed thatched cottage.
