This old-fashioned diner, owned by a single mom, serves hearty meals that last all day. Their eggs Benedict, with fresh spinach, avocado, and homemade skillet potatoes, is a standout. Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

Stayed for one night at The Red Cottage, it was pristine, homey, and just as described. Would definitely recommend!

Caleb's place is absolutely stunning! The amenities are draw you in but the interior of the home is just as welcoming. Every room is cozy and the home is well-appointed. Communication was easy and timely. There were no shortage of recommendations and the location was perfect.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at this cottage! We took a couples trip to visit Asheville and support the community after the hurricane, and we loved every minute of it! The place was beautiful and private and we felt right at home! The hot tub was definitely a favorite for us!!!! We would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed our time in Hendersonville and this sweet cozy home made that possible! The home interior was very cute and comfortable. The hosts did a wonderful job with all the little details and thoughtful touches such as dog blankets and a welcome basket. I’ve never went on a trip and not had to contact a host with a question or two but these hosts made everything so easy! Not to mention the house was spotless. Would happily stay here again!

This lovely home with its pastoral view really exceeded our expectations. The house was roomy, well laid out and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the daytime and using the hot tub at the end of the day after hiking the Blue Ridge PWY. The beds were very comfortable. The location was 20 minutes from Asheville. Our host was responsive and helpful. Definitely willing to use this house again!

We loved our stay at the cottage! Very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. the hot tub was easy to use. The shower had great water pressure and a nice size tub. The fireplace was really great in the living room. Overall a great stay! I wish there was a way to know a little about the history of the home.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 dogs! The cottage was very comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed.. including coffee and tea! The beds were comfortable and the open living room was perfect. We loved the seating on the deck, and the fenced-in backyard overlooking a creek was perfect for our dogs. Location was great with a short drive into Asheville. Our dogs especially loved the visits from the cows next door!! Hope to return soon!!

We love Woodfin- this house is located right next to a coffee spot and some great BBQ. Our favorite spot was the huge screened in porch

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

This cabin was very remote. It was peaceful and beautiful inside and out. Our stay was short I wish it could’ve been longer. Everything was pristine and clean inside. Was very pleased with our overall stay.

Beautiful home—we enjoyed our stay very much. Francis was friendly and so helpful! We brought our son and two furry four legged daughters who loved the grounds! It was actually better than pictures and descriptions. Home was clean, inviting, comfortable. You won’t be disappointed picking this home for a vacation or quick stay We will definitely be back. Great location — 10 mins to the Blue Ridge parkway and 10 mins to grocery stores. The space was comfortable and we enjoyed lounging on the patio bed after a hike. Our dog loved the path behind the house too!

Delightful stay! Went to Asheville for business and stayed at this lovely cottage in nearby Candler. This pristine one bedroom unit, (with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and gas fireplace), is located in a rural setting a short drive from Asheville. Ate at nearby Hungry Bear Cafe, (a great diner serving breakfast and lunch) as well as at the Waffle House. Ordered delivery twice from El Paraiso Mexican Grill and once from Galactic Pizza. This beautiful and cozy home had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor space and the inside was clean with all the amenities we needed. Doris and Shanna really thought of everything and left little touches that meant a lot- s’mores ingredients and sparklers for the kids, comfortable bedding with extra blankets, family games etc. It’s been our favorite place we’ve stayed at thus far. We felt secluded but it was only a quick drive for food and outdoor adventures. If you want a mountain retreat to refresh your soul, look no further!

We stayed in the Gala Getaway cottage and it was wonderful! The description given by Jennifer was spot on. The cottage is extremely private and clean. Next time we visit the area we definitely hope that the cottage is available as it is close to everything. It is convenient to access downtown Hendersonville, wineries and several apple orchards . It is minutes from highway 26 while providing a quiet peaceful setting. We recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Perfect location to visit our son at college. It is the perfect size and walkable to restaurants and coffee shops in a beautiful small town. We enjoyed our visit and will book again in the future.

Everything was wonderful, big and comfy bedrooms. Clean bathrooms, quiet area to relax on the deck. Beautiful scenery off the back deck with wild life all over. Pool table and foosball table are fun. We’ll definitely stay again!
