Gonzalo’s place was an amazing gem in the historic downtown district of Galveston, walking distance to Katie’s Seafood & The Fishermen’s Wharf restaurants as well as the Strand, Mod coffee, Art Walk and antique shops & art boutiques! The room was set up perfectly and decorated with a beach vibe, thankful for a wonderful mattress & fluffy pillows. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony in the evenings to sip on a glass of wine. This will be our first choice EVERY time we visit Galveston in the future! *great price* *april=perfect weather *

Where to begin. What a super property for any traveling professionals. It is set up like a tiny house but with regular size appliances. I didn't cook but if I wanted to I could. I came to Galveston Texas for a class that lasted two months. I spent the first 5 weeks here at Cozy. I brought my own sheets because of my experience at other air b and b's . But their sheets were so soft and the mattress was perfect. I never put mine own on. I had an accident and hurt my leg, and Katy the co host came straight over. On the side she has a laundry service. She took my laundry and returned it the next day. She stayed with me untile the ambulance got there. When I got out of the hospital, she called to check on Me and ended up doing several errands for me including driving me to Houston texas. With all that said, they really treat you like family. If I was coming back to Galveston I would stay there again...

The place was nice and quiet. My stay was good. I think the microwave needs to be replaced. I didn't like the wat the inside looked. Other than that I don't have any complaints.

Toaster, Coffee machine, bed in Master bedroom broken. Shower door in master didn’t close. No TV in one of the 2 guest rooms, also light broken. Furniture doesn’t recline other than that awesome. Dish ware could be better. Ice maker broken. I’m a ice eater

This will be our families second time at this location, and we have all made the decision to make these trips a tradition after the most recent stay. The house continues to be fantastic, with an unbeatable location. The host is super easy to communicate with, and immediately answers any questions we had. Whether you want to sit on the balcony and have tea while taking a work meeting, play on the beach with the many games provided in the garage, dip into the downtown Galveston for dinner and drinks, or just sit back with family and play one of the many board games in the closet, this place will keep you busy.

We loved the place! Host was helpful letting us know updates on the power outages after Hurricane Beryl, luckily power was restored the day of our arrival. Understandably the rock was damaged, hammock was tangled & some debris, but INDOORS? We loved. The home layout is ideal for kids to hangout upstairs with the bunk beds and game tables. The main floor is ideal for relaxing and socializing. Highly recommend bringing citronella cans and bug spray. Thanks!

The house was great. We have stayed in the neighborhood many times over the years and this was one of the best. It is near the water with unobstructed views of the water, with a great front deck you can watch the waves roll in. The neighborhood beach is a quick drive or walk across the neighborhood if you want to swim, but the beach in front of the house if you want to hang out or try and catch crabs. The place was clean and decorated super cute. There were lots of games for the kids to play, and the kitchen was very well stocked…hot pot for your French press, crock pot, cutting board, plenty of pots and pans, sheet pans, and even a crushed ice maker!

Really impressed with this listing! Things that stood out to me: really great AC, comfortable mattresses, cozy couch, large balcony with awesome view and plenty of chairs, thoughtfully decorated with hooks for all the things, nice kitchen stocked with just enough basics, wide open lawns with plenty of grass, easy walk to the beach, secluded beach without cars or tons of people. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! The only downside was that the washer / dryer unit looks to be from the 80s and didn't work for our stay. Would've been really nice to do laundry before coming home, they offered an appliance maintenance appointment on our last day and we declined assuming it would not just be an immediate fix.

I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed all the amenities. Everything exceeded my expectations, and the experience was both relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to others!
