This newly renovated lake front home with a hot tub is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Boat rentals are available across the lake. The property is located off Hwy 129 in close proximity to many of the areas scenic routes including: Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

The Bothy - 28 acre private retreat

This custom designed, modern cabin is made for connecting with nature in comfort. The cabin sits by itself on 28 private acres with meadows, forest, a small creek, and trails. You have privacy and space to wander and are still just 15 minutes to town, 10 minutes to Lake Santeetlah, and 1 mile off the Cherohala Skyway. A Bothy is a Scottish term for a small simple farm building that travelers can shelter in. The cabin and land are a perfect place to relax in the Appalachian mountains.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.
