We enjoyed our stay here!! We actually told Vic & Jess we saw their place from TikTok ! It caught our attention especially since it wasn’t far from us here in Chicago so we had to check it out ourselves! The view and simply being away from the city for the weekend was amazing. Vic & Jess are very responsive and attentive which we appreciated. Their home is very clean and it really does make you feel comfortable and inviting. All the vibes are there! Would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a quick getaway even with your kids. Ours enjoyed it very much 😊

We had the greatest girls weekend here . House is cozy, decorated beautifully, well appointed with everything you could need. Walkable to beach & a fun breakfast restaurant. Spacious common areas. Large bedrooms. Great backyard with comfortable , nice furniture and a fire table. Cozy front porch with comfortable seats . Lots of seating in the house . Huge kitchen with every utensil, bowl, plate or cup you may need . Host was very responsive to all of our questions .

This retreat on the lake was absolutely perfect for spending time with extended family during a Notre Dame game weekend! The house was flawless! Everything that was described in the listing was exactly how we found it. Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. The location was great—lots of things to. And such a beautiful view! We had everything we needed and I especially appreciated the very nice cookware.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

I will call it "Mary Poppins", practically perfect in every way. If you are looking for a quite scenic vacation spot, this is it. Their are obviously things that could have been better, but we got exactly what we wanted, no notes, no issues, no problems.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a little hard to find at first but even though it was right off the road the back yard felt very private. Easy to walk to the beach and around the neighborhood. For two people and a dog it felt very spacious and the outdoor area was very beautiful with all the fall colors. It was a nice area with easy access to the state parks we visited.

We had a wonderful time a the Scenic skies unit. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The little touches they added made us feel at home and appreciated. The location was fantastic and close to everything. It was a perfect space to relax and recharge. Kirby & Taryn are lovely hosts and were very very responsive to any questions we may have had. We highly recommend!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

Patty's place was GREAT! My 3 sisters and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The Condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the living room, bathrooms and in the kitchen to cook meals. All 3 beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were able to drive North, South & East less than 30 minutes to visit wineries, shops, antique malls and fine restaurants. There are lots of things to do close to Coloma for 4 retired ladies. We loved walking down to the beach every evening to watch the sunset and waves as they rolled in.

Erica's listing was great. I would stay there again for sure. amazing communication and since the place was not booked before or after she gave us early check in/late check out if we wanted to utilize it.

This was the perfect place for our family weekend! We enjoyed how easy it was to get to everything we wanted to do. The space is comfortable, homey, and oh so peaceful. Being able to walk to the private beach access was fantastic! It is the perfect balance between an upscale location and a laid-back lake house vibe. I really hope it stays vintage in the face of all the over the top renovations that seem to be dominating the rest of the neighborhood.

The Pines Cottage in Michiana Shores was the perfect escape for my sister and me—a busy Finance Director and Grants Manager—finally pressing pause on juggling responsibilities. Though it was a working vacation, this beautifully curated retreat by Meta Rose allowed us to relax, reconnect, and recharge. The blend of modern amenities with rustic charm made it feel like home, and the kitchen—my domain—was a dream for any home chef, snuggly designed yet perfect for cooking and baking. The serene surroundings and walkability gave us space for reflection and creativity, making our time here truly good for the soul. We can't rave enough about this little slice of joy and will absolutely be back! WARNING - you're going to fall in love all too easily with it!

We had a great time staying at Amy's place! It is the perfect size for a couple. It feels very cozy and like you are actually staying at someone's home vs. the sterile Airbnbs that are owned by corporate entities these days. The property is as described. It is very private, yet close to everything! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

Great place to stay and the local area was absolutely gorgeous! We definitely appreciated how the host provided a binder full of local restaurants, instruction manuals, and places to visit! Not to mention, heated bathroom flooring was life changing! Thank you again ♥️

This was our second stay. The place has so much character and the fireplace and masonry heater are splendid in winter. I can just sit in front of the fire all day enjoying it and the view of the channel. Once I am there, it is hard to leave that peace and coziness.
