Cozy Suite 10 min to Grand Rapids, 1 mi to Tanger

The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite , self contained space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

Quiet East Muskegon home in the woods

This is our personal home that we don't live in from spring - fall. Its a quiet area in the woods on a little creek. Perfect for bonfires or just a place to rest. Sitting back about a half mile off the road about the only noise you'll hear at night is maybe the wolves howling at the near by wolf sanctuary. We are only a 15 minute drive to anywhere in Muskegon. We can set up a private boat tour for up to 8 of Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan for $100/2 hrs. Note: There is no full kitchen.

Guests have access to this entire walkout basement studio with large backyard and creek. This newly renovated space has a Helix mattress queen bed, living room space, full bath, and a kitchenette which includes; a medium sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, plates, bowls, and silverware. We’re a 5 minute walk from Ken-O-Sha Park with great hiking trails, just south of 28th street, a 10 minute drive to the airport, and a 15 minute drive to downtown GR.

The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US.

The Roll Inn is a very unique home. Having been built in 1870 it was built 44 years after Grand Rapids was founded. The home was originally a barn but was converted to a house in 1863 after the cathedral of St Mary’s was built . The house is located downtown and is in an area that currently is developing . The two bedroom suite is a basic guest suite off of our home in a quiet community. It has its own private off street parking, with separate furnace and central air conditioning. The only shared area is the enclosed backyard and guests even have their own private laundry. Majority of our guests take advantage of our full kitchen and toiletries. While this is not a luxury stay it offers good value considering the area.
