Tranquil Grantchester is a quaint village beside the River Cam, home to thatched cottages, medieval Grantchester Church, and several pubs. It’s known for the Orchard Tea Garden, beloved of literature’s 1900s Bloomsbury Group and former village resident, poet Rupert Brooke.

Meadow cottage has been designed and built for the holiday market. Everything has been thought of to make sure your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic cooking ingredients supplied. The bathrooms are supplied with washing products & toilet rolls. A large garden with decking and outside seating and a large off road carpark for 4/5 cars. On request and with enough notice, there maybe a possibility to accommodate one more guest at a cost of £45 per night.

The self contained house for two adults is light and beautifully fitted and furnished. It is well situated on the West side of Cambridge for walks or bike rides to the city centre, University Departments, Colleges, Concert Hall, Museums and theatres. Local shops and restaurants, river, park and meadows are a short walk. You are never more than a 20 minute walk in Cambridge. A ‘U’ bus links the University’s West Site to the Hospital and Biomedical Campus to the south. A great place to live.
