Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. Thank you, Barbara and Taryn.

We loved our stay at Sandra's place, it is in a beautiful spot with tonnes of places to visit on your doorstep. Sandra was so friendly and helpful with local recommendations and even some tasty cookies and some eggs from the farm when we arrived. We loved our stay, thank you for having us!

Really great stay, very cosy. The woodshed is right next to where the host lives so any issues (we had none!) could have been easily addressed. Very quiet surroundings. Mel was a very friendly host and was very flexible. About a 5/10min drive from the local pub, from which there are pleasant walks you can do. Bought as a gift for my parents and they said they’d 10/10 stay again

Beautiful house and location. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were super comfy and clean. Cottage is well decorated. Perfect weekend break with the girls, would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay. We stayed for Christmas and New Year - 8 nights and ae love it !! we have had a real Christmas Tree ready for as and perfect welcome. Beautiful house and views! will come back for sure x

The hosts were very nice and friendly. They welcomed us, showed us around the house and said goodbye just before we left. The house was very clean and stocked with extras such as dishwashing liquid, pepper and salt, etc. The outside was very clean and well-kept. Beautiful flowering trees and shrubs. Hot tube ready for use. A beautiful place to rest and relax. For those who love nature and want to calm down. A wonderful experience feeding alpacas and listening to stories about them. A wonderful weekend, thank you!

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

So chuffed we found this place! As a group of 7 girls we had plenty of room, great location for nearby walks and easy access to eat/drink out. The novelty of the animals around the house was really fun and the house itself was lovely. Very comfy, had everything we needed and the luxury of the hot tub was an added plus. Julia was really great with all the information prior to arrival and the gentleman who look after the animals were super friendly. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The barn was really well presented and comfortable, with everything you need for a stay, including some lovely additional personal touches from Sonia. Sonia was really welcoming and showed us round when we arrived. It’s in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. There is plenty to do in the area and Sonia gave us some great recommendations.

we had a fabulous few days at Felicity and Stephens place. The surroundings are so beautiful and the private beach was such a luxury to have. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and are already looking at dates to come back again. By far one of the best dog friendly places we have ever stayed!

Tracy’s place was stunning, set in the most beautiful and peaceful location. It was exactly as described, perfectly clean, and Tracy was a friendly and responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

Home from a week at Helen’s Barn. Fantastic accommodation, with superb amenities, particularly loved the kitchen with great cookware supplied. The whole barn is warm and cosy, and in a great setting. Hot tub was a real treat too. Thank you for a great stay.

My partner and I stayed at lodge 1 with our 4 month old daughter for two nights and we absolutely loved our stay. We were hoping for a restful retreat away and that's exactly what we had. We were surrounded by beautiful countryside and lucked out with the weather. The cabin and facilities were great. Peter greeted us on arrival and was very hospitable and friendly. He set up the hot tub for us ready to use in the evening and popped by throughout our stay to check we were enjoying ourselves. We loved using the bbq and fire pit on both nights and cannot wait to come back again! 5 star experience which we would highly recommend. Thank you again Marion and Peter.

Really enjoyed our stay at Andy and Rosie's. The house is in a great location and we really enjoyed having the large field out front to play games in. Andy was very responsive to any questions and gave se great eating out recommendations. Highly recommend this accommodation.

The property was beautiful and the setting is idyllic. We had everything we could need and it was lovely that Andrea and Sally allowed my 3 dogs as many others only allow 2. We will definitely be booking a return visit !

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside…you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

fab few days away in a quiet locations. The hosts responded quickly to us when needed. The lodge had everything we needed and Hot tub was a fab bonus. There was also a folder with useful numbers in and info on surrounding areas. we would highly recommend a stay at this lodge.

The Hayloft barn is an amazing place to stay for a visit to the lakes. An amazing location right next to Keswick means you aren't travelling far. But also the barn is cosy and great for a night in. Would 100% recommend and hopefully we will be back at some point

Penny, the host, was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a minor issue upon arrival, she resolved it quickly and with genuine apologies, ensuring my stay was comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You won't be disappointed!
