With its wood burning stove, kingsize bed (if you prefer 2 singles please tell us in advance) shower, mini-kitchenette with sink, fridge, hob, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, slow-cooker & microwave it’s a compact and relaxing rural retreat with comfy armchairs and a dining area plus en-suite shower/sink/loo. Towels and toiletries are provided. Great area for cycling, walking, wildlife, history etc.

If you are ‘walking the Wall’, we can arrange pick up and drop off to the Chollerford area at no extra cost. We will supply packed lunches if needed (gluten or dairy free if required). The Barrasford Arms in the village is a lovely place to enjoy an evening meal. A great place to explore Northumberland from.

West Haswicks is a recently renovated stone built cosy cottage. Set behind the Main Street with the local pub 2 minutes walk away that serves fabulous food. The river wear is just at the bottom of the house with country walks in every direction. Very scenic and relaxing place to visit with very friendly locals. Ideal place to visit local attractions. Stanhope is 8 mile away while in the opposite direction there is Alston which is 15 miles away.
